Well TBF Jens are showing a lot more games this time around, guess it's better content when you don't play a meta deck that literally every game is the same, but yes he's taking longer this time, but isn't that enourmous difference, we are now on the second month and "all" the other runs also took 2 months to complete...
Just incredible. "I'm going to save this card for a possible additional Dreadsteed over two turns, rather than guarantee a board clear against this deck that's famous for dumping giant stealthed minions on the board."
also true generating a dreadsteed to slowly grind enemy down instead of getting 3 health and killing a enemy minion to die than on turn earlier and than saying, oh nothings can help me here now.
Yeah my brain the entire turn was going, why does he not zola the customer? Why does he not zola the customer? Also a shame that he did not really explain his reasoning. Especially for the deck he was up against it was by far his strongest card.
I was the rogue deck, I've been watching you for years I thought I recognized your name when I played you and I've been waiting for the video I loved that you called me a mad man 😂 but it worked out I took the win this time
I think against pirate warrior you play it like a bomb warrior treating the altar of fire as dead and shuffling as many curse of agony as possible instead of the typical late game OTK…
Problem is that even bomb warrior had the problem of bombs being negative tempo the turn their played because they do nothing until 5 turns later. Without combining them with at least tamsin to do double like he did at the end, it probably will be insignificant his on board presence I don’t think would ever ca-italize on the minuscule damage agony provides drawn naturally
@@luc.k7736 Am I dumb or does agony ramp by one for each one drawn adding up to 21 dmg from just the six shuffled via the normal two spells with no tamsin. You never lose tempo either as it is a one mana spell... smh
@@RunThermal the average game is roughly 10 turns, going through about half your deck (mulligan 3 + 10 nat draws). That’s consistent enough to play only one of two agonies every game, maybe 1.5 if you tap a lot and spend 2 mana each turn on drawing instead pushing tempo. Then, That’s 1 mana do 6 damage (1,2,3 damage) to the face spread across 10-15 ish of your opponent’s card draws. Especially in a matchup like pirate warrior where you can’t really win the board beyond clearing, it really is negative tempo as you have no other ways to push face damage even if you somehow manage to get two agonies off early. You at least have to play 1 dead card, the first agony, and then the second one takes maybe another 5 of the enemy’s draws, but by that point, the enemy player will have gone through most of their deck, and if their aggro or even midrange the game is basically won as they have no more resources. I mean, maybe there’s a version of the agony deck that works like bomb warrior and can spend resources on 1 mana do nothing (which is surprisingly difficult considering bomb warrior attached bombs onto decently statted weapons and minions as well as had direct synergies like the bombmaster dr. Boom card), but at least trump’s version has no significant ways to push face damage and capitalize on early agony damage like you want him to.
@@luc.k7736 flaw in your logic not only is he playing warlock so he has tap but he is playing warlock with draw meaning he is going through his deck at much faster pace than 3 + 10 natty draws

He knows that option exists for sure, I have seen it played against him. Not sure why he doesn't do it himself though. Some games he is missing out on crazy value.
Is Zola onto Brann a bad play...? Gives two more branns which is basically the same as having two copies of school teacher but has more variety, right?
Not too many quest rewards nowadays. It's been good to seal the game against control warrior and paladin but there are a lot of fast decks that go under it
Dreadlich Tasmin is a hero card for 6 mana. When you play it, you deal 3 damage to everything, gain 5 armour, shuffle three cast-when-drawn 3/3 demons into your deck, and draw three cards. Your hero power becomes "Shuffle in a cast-when-drawn 3/3, then draw a card".
Hey trumpster, I'm quite new to the game and would like to know if you still think that abyssal curses are bad. I watched your video in which you evaluated sunken city cards and you said that you think they are trash. I however think that they are really strong and I actually got otk't a couple times by them. Am I just dreadfully bad or are they stronger than they seemed at first?
Abyssal curse warlock is currently a tier 3 (not very good) deck. It mainly loses to very aggressive decks. I’d recommend playing mech mage or mech paladin as it has a favorable matchup.
@@devinsmartphone mech mage is really not fun to play. You have like 6 win conditions and 80% of the time you win based on luck and 20% of the time you don't. In my opinion all those aggressive rush decks are so boring to play or play against. The most fun I had until now was a round control shaman vs control shaman. I mean yeah the game dragged out really long and it was exhausting as hell, but I had the feeling that my opponent won because he had the better decisionmaking and not because he had luck drawing cards. I guess hearthstone as a whole isnt in a meta that I enjoy very much. But this is the fate of all card games as it seems. I really liked yugioh 15 years ago. When it was a long tactical "chess" game. And not a round of solitaire with a roll of dice.
39:00 You have tamsin and both agonies in hand, with another agony + brann for 18 agonies in his deck, and you're... worried about him healing in between? That's (1+18/2)*18 damage... could even get more from the other school teacher... I really don't understand the reluctance to just burn him down, especially after both altars are already gone and in desperate need for hand space. Feels like Trump plays about as well as I do (makes lots of silly mistakes). Difference being he actually takes ages per turn instead of plays everything instantly while watching something else... and I'm not saying I'm good at this game at all.
It gets so much worse because later he has the ability to Zola that Nagaling and replay it again twice while the Brann is on the board. If he just stopped hyper-focusing on this ludicrously bad Brann Teacher play he would realize he could put 30(!!!) Agonies in the opponents deck which he was assuming was Reno! If you are looking at a hand of 10 cards and lamenting that none can be played, you are not playing flexibly enough. This is actually a solid deck, but Trump is far too obsessed with specific value to make the correct plays with it. The last game drove me crazy - it could have been over before turn 10 if he had just played some damn cards instead of hoarding them in fear of some swing turn or win condition that didn't exist.
Has he considered soul rend yet? Some earlier AOE could really help him out. Yes high risk that you delete a core card however with the teachers he can still salvage it.
