Clearly you disagree with my statement, please enlighten us with your evidence for such a well rounded rebuttal.

Your HGV driving peers constantly move back over with less gap than that. Why is it that they are fine to do it, but a 3.5T van doing it is unprofessional?

Anyone moving over with a small gap is driving dangerously, and in the case of commercial drivers, unprofessionally also. This driver did it to try and intimidate me because I didn't move over to let him in at the junction, which I couldn't do due to cones being partly over the 2nd lane. If I had of moved over, he would have had false confidence to move in along side my vehicle and potentially caused a crash due to lack of space.

Wrong, merging traffic has right of way. You're supposed the let them on.

Wrong. Please read the highway code before commenting. thanks.
      3. Joining the motorway (259)
      259
Joining the motorway. When you join the motorway you will normally approach it from a road on the left (a slip road) or from an adjoining motorway. You should
give priority to traffic already on the motorway
check the traffic on the motorway and match your speed to fit safely into the traffic flow in the left-hand lane
not cross solid white lines that separate lanes or use the hard shoulder
stay on the slip road if it continues as an extra lane on the motorway
remain in the left-hand lane long enough to adjust to the speed of traffic before considering overtaking.

Why didn’t you move over? Clearly there was nothing in the right lane.. 🔔 end

Nothing in the right lane that was barely wide enough to fit a bicycle 🔔end

or just have common decency to slow a little since your speed is restricted anyway and allow best flow for traffic instead of causing a merging vehicle trying to get up to motorway speeds have to break on the on ramp ,also idiotic move at the end? what should they have done hogged the middle lane for 3 miles before coming back over instead

Common decency to slow a little? He was already behind me and tried to speed up and undertake. Stupidity. And hardly 3 miles as he can do 62 Vs my 56...5 more seconds and there would have been safe space, but no, he had to cut in and be a prick even though he is in the wrong
