I couldn't tell but it looked like you dangled the brake caliper from the brake line. From what I've seen, that's a no-no to stress the brake line in that manner. Hang the caliper with a bungee strap or S-hook designed to hang brake calipers.
I have heard that. But i have also heard that if it cracks while it dangles it was gonna brake any ways, Plus those hoses withstand quite a bit of pressure so I’m sure them dangling isn’t ideal but also isn’t life or death. Plus these brembo calipers are like 5 pounds!
Hej is there any computer seting you need to change before you lift a car in order to not destroy some suspension parts if they have couple setings in vehicle like sport comfort or else same for back ?
@@meanswing unfortunately since the vehicle is so new there is no torque specs available for me to view. I just recommend using a drop or two of blue locktite on the caliper bolts and get them guten tight with a 3/8 ratchet then quarter turn with a breaker bar.
I have 2021 Cayenne Base Model and what are the parts#s for front rotors, rear rotors and front & rear brake pads? I tried look on OEM pages and there are multiple parts
No electronic emergency brake in the rears , very simple very smooth . Do the fronts first and the rear are a breeze!!!! Smooth ... dealer will charge you 1300 $for the labor and 1800 for parts , save your money diy
@@kila980This is good to know. I took mine to a non-Porsche shop and they said they couldn’t change the rear brakes because of e-brakes and they didn’t have the scan tool to put the car into service mode. I was about to go to the dealership but decided to check TH-cam first. Glad I did. All the necessary parts come up to $700 on Suncoast Porsche. Rear axle brake change at dealer is about $2,500.
this is perfect !!!!! I was stuck on the rubber part

I will get you the specs
A service shop told me 30 N-m plus 90 degrees but that seems way too low to me…

Do you know the size of the rotors in mm?
@@EuroCarTutorials I dont know but i have standard black caliper with 19inch wheels
What about the rears?
Same exact procedure for the fronts. You may need a scan tool to retract the rear electronic parking brakes into service mode.
