This hill (hammarbacken) just south of Harmånger at 30:40 is notorious for accidents in the winter, the foreign 4×2 trucks are in the lead of the statistics..some of the accidents are really in the horrific nature. 😪
@alextidstrom short, but steep..I don't like it when cars come passing outside trucks going south, blasting through around that blind corner as you are coming down that left turn..it can get sketchy real fast.
The aircraft you saw on the road was a jaktviggen 37, They most likely had some installation going on up there. Most likely production of parts of some kind for the aircraft. We got more of those around the country, Mainly as memorials for our sharp past in the aerofighting technologies. In Eskilstuna. We use to have a weapons factory which now is put out of commission but we use to have memorials next to it aswell, aswell as the base founder for todays Volvo or as it was called back then BM and under the man, munktell. @alextidstrom Being in automatic shift-mode the ecu's manage this for you and will not over-rev, being in manual it can though. I could never confirm, but I always knew truckers put their lorries in neutral. Sometimes they be going 105-110 km/h downhill in a tunnel. It's crazy and dangerous. Cars in Europe don't expect to suddenly be overtaken by a lorry, since they normally can't go over 90km/h. I get there exists something like e-coasting that automatically puts the truck in neutral and back, as to charge the batteries, and in this case it's okay, because it won't allow you to go over 90km/h (it will pull the lorry out of neutral if the lorry starts going too fast). But it's still dangerous. Doing this manually in a lorry that does not have automatic coasting, it's also bad for the transmission, because in this case the transmission isn't made to coast at 90 km/h.
@alextidstrom Does it really save fuel? In cars, the fuel required to keep the engine running in neutral costs more fuel than the extra fuel used by being in gear. When modern cars are in gear and you're rolling downhill, the ECU will stop the fuel injection entirely.
@checkyourfax Yes, you are right..coasting in neutral draws a bit of fuel but as coasting in gear draws zero fuel..so it's better to be in gear, due to the gross weight, especially when loaded you still gonna end up needing to brake/jakebrake going downhill due to the "living mass" that is "pushing" the truck along the road if even the slightests downhill..with all this weight when fully loaded you can at some areas coast for several miles and over hills without even touching the gas..its pretty cool.

There is not a statued law that forbids this, some cops dont like it and may have something to "preach" about but I don't see the dangers of driving without shoes. Some instances statue that you, in an emergency situation may not be able to push the braking pedal as hard as with shoes on, but I do not agree, you can easily lock up your brakes to that the abs kicks in todays modern trucks with disc-brakes and abs so I don't see the issue really. But for avoiding this discussion with the law along the road you can have some lighter shoes for driving, no slippers or "wodden" slippers though..you need a shoe that goes over your heal and stays there like a proper shoe.
@@sadamalkhaled6152The northern parts, above Hudiksvall there are very few full-service reststops, way to few I'd say, you have some were there's toilets at least. What's the story about Florida? You're original from Sweden?
Born & raised in Sweden and have had periods in the US. Moving to Florida right now 🙏
your english is amazing. you are swede or american? :D
Thank you! Swedish! Born & raised!
Can Americans get visa sponsorship to drive in Sweden?
That is a very good question, I suppose so! 😃
my best tip to your question is to contact swedish embasy in US, but anyway i dont belive that it is any issues for an american to get a working permit/visa to sweden.. if you get over here your welcome 👍
Is it legal to drive without shoes?
So many do, never heard anyone get a ticket for it.
But for avoiding this discussion with the law along the road you can have some lighter shoes for driving, no slippers or "wodden" slippers though..you need a shoe that goes over your heal and stays there like a proper shoe.
hi bro can you show us rest area in sweden pleas. Is like the USA or it's diffrent
I will try to remember to put that in the next video sir!
They are different from the US.
@@petter5721 bro I live in swden but I asket to know how it is in sweden because I want to become truck driver😊😊😊😊
@@sadamalkhaled6152The northern parts, above Hudiksvall there are very few full-service reststops, way to few I'd say, you have some were there's toilets at least. This the Government of Transport has to do alot better, the heavy traffic, especially the foreign ones are picking up numbers and it can be tuff to make it in to reststops at night for having a break or rest for the night.

So you’re secretly watching trucking videos.
