The 12 volt battery doesn't actually start the car. It energizes the circuits to allow the HVTB to do so.

Why does a weaker 12 volt battery prevent it from remote starting?

I have a 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid with only 12200 miles and on it’s 3rd battery and still goes into battery saver mode unless I drive a long distance on the freeway. These battery’s are simply too small and Ford won’t upgrade to a larger battery.
