Complete opposite for me. I'm absolutely trash in fortnite. No matter what settings I use. But in apex. I'm getting multiple team wipes and actually winning gunfights against skilled players lol.
Word. Apex stuck to me because of TF2. I loved that the weapons and controls were the same minus the wall runs. And I enjoy the individual power sets for each legend.
I enjoy both. Fortnite feels like funny action movie, and apex feels like an on edge survivor with abilities. I will say fortnite is about finding loot and apex is about how you use your abilities

The game wasn't designed for no build so no build is unauthentic and they got stupid gimmick items in every season like chains of Hades, cars with turrents and cow catchers, tanks, lighting bolts, etc

It is better, higher skill cap necessary to become a well rounded player. Also movement playing major part so to mix knowledge about weapons with different recoil patters along with movement, a specific pattern to get speed boosts n be able to bunny jump around causing mayhem. It’s f@cking fun dude
