I found Joburg to be more expensive when travelling there. The food and drinks are generally more expensive and there aren't many places that offer free entry.
Hey Drew, yes if you are still here, I can show you around Houtbay, CHapmans peak, there's also an awesome zipline to do, visit the old winelands as well as Bettys bay (another penguin area, less touristy) with beautiful scenery of the Helderberg mountains and the ocean in near 360 all around.

Fantastic. Glad you enjoyed it. Just to let you know it has so much more to offer with superb weather, friendliest rainbow nation and affordable rates. A proud South African.
Excellent video! Next time a video of the Eastern Cape / Gqeberha and beyond. We sit at the start of the Garden Route towards Cape Town. Addo National Elephant Park is right here! Great content. Regards, Peter & Roy (Port Elizabeth, South Africa)
Is this really the only South Africa video? For a guy that's travelled so much of the world. You seriously need to visit more places in South Africa. There are many gems.
From $10K to $30K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family 😊
This brings me so much joy as a huge fan i've been waiting for you to come and im glad you find my province amazing. You should try go to some of the most dangerous areas like cape flats, Nyanga, Michellsplain & District Six and also check out the winery farms🤗
To many accents. Even amongst black people we have 9 provinces within those 8 we have 3 different races coloured, white , black. Kzn Durban has Indians and the coloureds there don't speak Afrikaans it's either English or Zulu( KZN was the last province the British had power over) if you listen to Tyla the singer speak that's Durban coloured accent
You definately have to visit Cape Town again!! Lots lots more to do and see... You have to stay longer in order to really indulge in the Cape Town experience
Many overseas Indonesian are in Cape Town. They are concentrated in the Malay quarter Bo Kaap part of Cape town. Historically they are descendants of Indonesian slaves that were brought by the VOC during colonial times. You can even found Indonesian restaurant that served "Nasi Goreng" over there.
You should come to east London south Africa it would be a dream come true to see you out here btw im a really big fan of yours Drew keep travelling and being the best 🎉🎉❤❤😂😂
Its named the most beautiful city in Africa and tbh cape town looks beautiful with the table mountain beaches and good architecture Johannesburg also looks interesting
@@salayiwhy would anyone go to a township? It’s a huge risk due to the high crime rate and the only remotely safe way to visit is with a guided tour. I know Drew is well traveled and has been to far worse places, but townships imo don’t have much to offer, and it’s a high risk low reward situation.
@@salayimate, there are hundreds of murders happening in townships every year, a quick google search will show you the stats. Tourists have been hurt and killed there for no reason. A while back, a British doctor was killed in Nyanga in front of his family because a part of the N2 highway was closed and the only way forward was through the township. An American tourist was shot in the jaw and violently mugged recently while driving through Nyanga. 2 British Airlines pilots were mugged with one of them being stabbed in Johannesburg, and a German tourist was kidnapped near Kruger National Park. South Africa, especially CPT is an amazing and beautiful place imo, but it can turn dangerous quick. One shouldn’t take unnecessary risks while there. The allure of visiting a township should just stay an allure, and one should definitely exercise more caution than they would in Europe or the touristy parts of America. I mean no disrespect, but just going by statistics and other people’s experiences, townships are definitely not a place to visit. I would love to visit one day and I really hope South Africa prospers in the near future.
@@2Rand One of the reasons people can't visit is finance. Cape Town is incredibly expensive because it's an international tourist hotpot, so expensive that the people this country cannot visit!

I found Joburg to be more expensive when travelling there. The food and drinks are generally more expensive and there aren't many places that offer free entry.

It's cheap for the tourists, not for the locals.
Basically every developing country is cheap by developed country standards, but that is because local incomes are much lower
