I always think about a trip like this, Altho I don't have a kayak yet. You and a few others have inspired me to get out in the woods, i have all the gear, I just need the time. I work 50 to 60 hrs a week, and I have two kids, so I have very little time for hobbies. Thank you

Hi Erik! Always worth waiting for and this was no exception. I find in all your videos there is just something that lifts the spirit along with some thought provoking issue. This time for me it was the wonderful sound of wind and rain on the tent and of course the twitter of new life bursting out all over the place! As for the thinking side of things I have to admit feeling a little sad at the empty settlement although the “holy coffee” moment made up for it in the long run! When you paddled away in the final shot you left me wondering when you were going to turn round to collect the camera!! Stay safe and as always thank you so much for your time. Clive

I really like the way you let the pictures tell the story. Really inspiring. I also notice that you never use shots where a gimbal is needed, creates a much more pleasing experience, instead of all the pan and tilt and movements others use (myself included unfortunately).

No cougars, but we do have lynx, and bears and wolves. Also boar, elk, wolverine, viper, and badger. They rarely approach people though.
