Wild fires are like a scythe cutting down a forest, but then the Great Gardener sets the seeds once more and the new forest takes its time to regenerate itself; 50 years is just the start, eh? 500 years to go, perhaps. Thanks Eric :)
You have a natural eye for filmmaking. Your sense of lighting, camera angle and frame composition set your stories apart from other wilderness/ camping videos. The very quiet sounds that could be perceived as silence are the extra layer that makes your audience feel that they are with you on your adventure. I live in a crowded urban area. Watching your posts give me a chance to travel anytime. Seeing your conserve your speech and movements is an important lesson in fast paced and disposable goods world. Well done.
In my crazy, hectic day to day life driving an hour thru rush hour traffic, working in a trauma hospital, back home hurry to bed, up before sunrise, repeat..I love knowing this serene peaceful landscape exists. When I watch these videos I concentrate on the silence and the sounds of nature. Very relaxing.
The color and beauty of the wooden house on the first screen is wonderful. It looks like a house in a fairy tale. I thought it was like a house in a classic fairy tale, with an old-looking wooden ladder hanging over the roof. The house in fantasy movie? The shape and history of the old trees lying in the nature reserve come to me with a meaning story. The sound quality of nature's sound, which is overlapped with video, is so overwhelming. It's the best. Thanks Erik.
+Erik Normark "The whole place feels ancient where the time stand still" I empathize with your comment. I think... Nature gives us all beautiful things for a long time. I am grateful for everything that nature gives us. Thanks Erik.
Another classic film; thanks Erik, you really bring back the nostalgia from my time in Scandinavia 50 years ago. One memory was when the moose trampled my camp in autumn one day before the hunting season opened. Never did see a moose after that!
Thank you for your work, Erik. Your movies are so inspiring and your calm kind mixed together with the sounds and the nature makes me dive into another world.
The Scandinavian wilderness honestly is so beautiful and natural, and your night skies man, please make a video on that! I wanna witness those stars with you! :D
Great vids! So caught up on the different technologies and ways to start a fire, you've reminding me of the simplicity, practicallity and versatility of the humble match. Thanks😉
What an awesome adventure. Thank you for your great work and the beautiful pictures giving us. I love that peaceful mood, the close shots and that you dont only take the camera on a selfie Stick to interview yourself. Every Clip is art.
A big THANK you, Erik, for one more of your wonderful hiking videos showing the beauty of the northern nature and amazing forest interiors giving the soul tranquility and peace of mind and rest! Wishing you all the Very Best always!
Thumbs up to you !!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video, from a new subscriber in Arkansas, USA. I shall return to enjoy more videos you produce. Thanks again.
Ojojoj vilken fantastiskt vacker natur du vistas i, sagolikt vackert !
Mvh
Another wonderful video Erik. At peace with nature and your coffee, very relaxing to watch. The length of time for a forest to recover from human and natural events in northern climates can be extreme in human terms, but in the grand scheme of nature it's not even a flicker of an eyelash. Great video, thanks.
Hi Erik, I enjoy your videos very much. Thanks! I am actually in your part of the country now, on my 2nd Kungsleden thru hike, writing to you from Jakkvik. Best...
Beautiful camera work in a beautiful land. I enjoy how you allow the scenery and wilderness to create its own script. Many thanks. You have a new fan. Peace from Nor. Minnesota.
"Tea at last, tea at last . . . great god a-mighty, he had tea at last!" he-he Was that an electronic xylaphone? I couldn't tell. You did two of my favorite things when out . . . eating and napping :) The call of the loon is so mournful; there used to be a mated pair on the pond at the back of the land where I live. They'd wake me every morning. They left last early fall because of construction going on; not good. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these videos for us, Erik. They are very much appreciated. Be well and take care, Donna p.s. try some dark chocolate and chili powder in your coffee sometime; it's delightful ;)
:) Maybe I will only drink tea from now on... LOL Yes the music was made on the computer. It's sounds very natural though. Sorry to hear about the loons. Maybe they come back if things calm down there. Thanks Donna
@@erik_normark No, afraid they're gone for good . . . it was housing construction . . . civilization creep, ug-ly. The pond is shrinking also. Not enough room for them to take off. I have to 'let it go' :) ATB Erik (enjoy your beautiful Sweden)

Man you’re an artist...you make me FEEL the nature. A huge thanks

That was pure peace and pleasure, thank you.
You know, dear Erik...I think I LIVE for those "thumbs up" verdicts on your coffee...or "Chaga tea"! Priceless!
I love hearing the sound of birds and of the surroundings
Only 31K subs? This is immoral.
This is one of the best wilderness skills channels on TH-cam.
total agree .
Thank you once again for bringing peace and the sounds of the forest to us. I watch your films again and again.

Thank you Daniel. That old bothy has its charm, and a nice place to stay for a night. The whole place feels ancient where the time stand still.

The woods are lovely dark and deep. But I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep. And miles to go before I sleep. Robert Frost.
I sense the peace and the harmony. No empty words.

Brilliant. “All that’s left of the forest”
The end.
Tack...
Great audio quality, the crackling of the fire really brought me there :)
Ljudet är fantastiskt och bilden är väldigt skarp och fin. Härliga färger. Vackra vyer. Det är som meditation att se dina videos.
Big thumbs up from Wisconsin, USA 🇺🇸

Fantastic!!! I’ve watched other 30-35 minute videos and they talk for 30-35 minutes with the camera on them and hardly show what they are seeing.
Great vids! So caught up on the different technologies and ways to start a fire, you've reminding me of the simplicity, practicallity and versatility of the humble match. Thanks😉
I was beginning to wonder if you hiked when the weather is good......love ever second of your videos. Thank you for taking me along.

Nature is a woman who is smiling when she is sad, and crying when she is happy.
Bild och ljud - vackert och talande, i sin helhet. Storlommens läten är som essensen av svensk natur för mig!
Tack Matilda. Ja lommens läten är ren magi!
