- This video simulates a flight from Belfast, in Ireland to Stord, in Norway with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The aircraft is Airbus A320neo, the updated variant of the A320, designed by FlyByWire Simulations and operated by EasyJet. The video has been recorded in Ultra HD 4K, at 60 FPS. The flight will last for about 1h and 30 min and it will take us along some of the most gorgeous and realistic landscapes in Norway as we experience a freezing sunset approach to a runway to which our aircraft was never designed to land in. I will also be the miniFCU! ENJOY 😀

I look at simulations like this and then I recall the original DOS based Flight Simulator of long ago that was just a vector display of a Cessna control panel full of aliasing on a 1024 x 768 display, and a line to represent the horizon. The engine sounded like some kid's bicycle where he had attached playing cards to the spokes with clothes pins! And we were thrilled with it! Yeehaw! Merrill Meigs Field Chicago, baby! I can't work this game out. I'd love to know how to taxi the airport. Or start up manually. Aswell as map reading. Even when I follow the purple line. Takes me to a different approach of the airport
I would recommend you watch some wonderful tutorials by 320simpilot or easyjetsimpilot which helped me understand all the procedures I have to follow
You know DLSS is on when AOs leave trails.
Anyway, I had heard most of the airplane models had very little functioning controls, mostly being fakes and placeholders; but I can see your plane has a 100% working cockpit!!

No, this is the A32NX, a free addon. Btw what is AOs? I am pretty sure I turned DLSS off in my graphics settings

You can notice it mostly with tires.
I had the same effect in Cyberpunk 2077, with cars. No such trails with DLSS off, but plenty when on.
The hair of your pilot boardin shows the same trailing at 0:07 seconds.

Yes, it could be the recording app or just a bug, but I just checked and I had DLSS and Frame Generation off for the video.

No, you need to program it in the MCDU which is the onboard computer. Go to the page called “perf” and enter the 3 V speeds V1, VR, and V2

I go to the showcase camera and select 1 of the 14 or so views there are.

Yes but the airport must be equipped with ILS systems and the airport I landed that doesn’t have that. Only big airports like Los Angeles and London Heathrow have such systems.

It's 20 miles from Belfast but there's also Belfast City Airport which is near the Titanic Quarter.

Hi, I wanted to ask you something, how do I change the directory, it starts the game with x12, I try to change from the general settings, I put x11 back, it tells me to restart the game, I do it, but when I go to look in the general settings there's something new x12, how can I solve it?
I am not sure, the way I do it is changing from DX11 to DX12 in general settings and clicking apply & save. Then, I restart the game and it’s switched to DX12

“insane realism” was referring to the realistic graphics settings. I chose Stord because it was a very challenging airport to land at since the A320 doesn’t even fly here.
