Would've loved to see two more inches on the bottom like on a Dingwall. But no doubt these will probably play and sound really good. Still I'm very happy with the sound of my V7.
I like the headless bases, I even don't mind those horns but one thing that scares me is the fact that compared to Ibanez or Strandberg, those tuners are very, very far away from body, making it relatively easy to scratch, bump etc. But as long as pickups are decent, this would be my only gripe with it.
Damn, that’s a lotta awesome bass TH-camrs in one video 🤘 Some interesting new odds and ends from Sire - still not sold on the Z series but liking what I’m seeing elsewhere… They really spoil us, glad they’re in the bass market.
Would really like to see/hear a demo of the new Z7. Since they altered the neck pickup, I’m very interested to know how it compares to the prior generation of Z7. Thank you.
I was saving for an F series and now they come up with a headless 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ without mentioning the astonishing Z’s. Makes you wanna have one of each and live under a bridge.
Such a shame about the audio on the M6. I've been trawling the internet looking for samples and I can't see that anyone got a useful audio clip! If you get one for review, can I come try it too? I'm only over in Bristol 😅
The Z3/Z7 were released 8 months after NAMM 2024, but I think V6/P6 will be released faster. The Z-Series was altered a lot after NAMM to make it look different from Music Man basses.
I'm disappointed that they haven't made the Z series in left-handed models. One of the things I appreciated about Sire was how they made all their basses in a lefty version.
I have a v5 the weight is my only real problem with the thing. I play with the strap pretty high up and it feels like there is just a ton of weight pressing right into my ribs. Hurts and is honestly impossible to ignore any longer than a few minutes.
Need to hear a comparison between V6 & M6
Yeees the multiscales!! Can't wait to get one of these
Interesting move from Sire!
@JonnyDibble I used to have a M3, this was a surprisingly great sounding bass, I really want to see a review of these if you can get your hands on one
@@valendis I had an M7!
@@JonnyDibble yes but was it fan fretted?! I think not Johnny! I think not! 😂
I'd love to hear the new P6 and V6. I can't seem to find any videos of them actually being played.
I came here to hear the sound of M6...
@@lrglucas97 Trust me, I’m more annoyed than you

Who wouldn't want two more inches?
Did you play the headless, also are they light?

Agreed. I think so too.
Thats the first thing I though. Even putting in a gig bag will be problematic.
How do you like the Z series? I got a z7 in September, really enjoying it.

Super cool to see Floof and Sono making a appearance!

We're just two chill spirits that haunt Jonny and Jonny wont exorcise us because we're just that chill B)
Interested in a one of those lightweight P6 or V6 5 string basses. Really wish I could find a video of one of those being played!
@@michaelkeefer4293 hopefully I can get my hands on one! My favourite from their booth

I’ve gotta try one of those!

@@postrockmike9199 I was SO annoyed 😓 for sure!
so ibenez, fodera and musicman all under one umbrella!
Can you demo the V6 5-string and M6 5-string? Also, did they mention a release date for these basses?

They removed the Gumby headstocks?!?!

I reckon they will. Seems like they’ve tweaked the basses so perhaps they’re refining them
There starting to make them
Could do without the preamp on the P6. Hell, make it headless too to lose some more weight.
are the Z3s still on the overly chonky side or did they slim them down at all? I really want one but they're just A Lot
@@SisterRose Didn’t feel to chonk to me!
I play a Gen1 V7 and it's awesome, BUT that thing is heavy....so I would really like to try a V6 now.

@@christopherbond4786 I play 2 hour gigs with the thing. 😀 I've also heard that the U7 is also lighter, but now I would really like to own a black v6.
I also have a V7.
It sounds really really good,
but you're right, it absolutely is super heavy.
Marcus Miller is booming with innovation and great prices.
If only theyd do a 7 string bass id be all in
*Looks at new sires*
So no head?
Nice, I had like number 69. Anyway, I was always curious about multiscale, but also never a fan of headless basses.
Please demo a M6-4
Yes.
the m6
Play dat bass 🎸
That thumbnail is a massive jebait lmao
Hey, it’s in the video!
@JonnyDibble true, but what use is that if we can't hear it 🤣
i've never been here so early.
Welcome
