Replacing thermal pads on Zotac 3060 Ti Twin Edge Nvidia graphic card, two fans cooled with 8GB ram memory.

I have this exact card. Literally the best card for esports and 1440p gaming. I wont be upgrading to the 400 series cards while I have this one. And thanks for the video I have been looking for something like this as i also wanted to replace the thermal pads on my card too.

I would never buy zotac, the fans are terrible bad quality, Msi 3060ti is great card, two of them working perfect for almost 3y now

@KrunoEti had temps reaching 87° you know the fans on this gpu are loud. Now it doesn't go over 75°, even while playing cyberpunk on high.

I was about to buy 4070 super. In germany cost 630 at the moment. So I decided to buy this 3060ti used with my new 7800x3d. I paid 215 euros for the GPU, it is solid on 1440 with ultra details. Great card for cheap money.

my card has 2mm pads on the vrm. in stock it gives me temperatures of +85°c in games. I will try to adjust the measurement to 1.5 mm

@@miguelestor840 No, La tarjeta que comentaba era una zotac 3060 normal, el problema especulo fue porque esa version basica solo tenia 3 tubos para disipar el calor en el radiador. Los modelos Zotac 3060 OC y 3060 TI cuentan con un tubo mas como se puede ver en el segundo 0:51 para hacer un total de 4 tubos. Tambien tuve ese modelo 3060TI y la temperatura nunca pasaba de 76°c. las medidas del thermal pad efectivamente son 2mm memorias y 1.5 VRM tanto para 3060 y 3060TI. Lo mejor en la serie 3000 es hacer undervolt, no se pierde rendimiento y te sacas otros 10°c

i have a question ,i have Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti V2 Mini OC.It overheats .when i play gta 5 and furmark it goes up to 85
some people say it is normal ,even i changed 4 times thermla paste with 3 different good brands still didnt make any difference.if i dont play games i get 45-50.only when i play games it goes up to 85

12,8 is thermal conductivity for this one, and they are perfect after 2 years of change, factory ones are horrible. More conductivity better, yes

what happend if i use the defaults termal pads?, maybe the temperature is the same?
Factory pads are garbage in most case, but many times when you opening card they fall apart...also depend when you are replace them, if they are old they can dissapear due the high temps and be sticked and you need to clean them with alcohol

Better no, if it is thicker than it should be, you will increase your temperatures, and you get nothing with that, just worse results

@@felipemalhame I did. I bought another 1,5mm as the video. You cant use only 1,5mm or 2,0mm only.. need to use the correct size for it.. Now my VGA decrease from 60 down to 35-40 temp when idle!

If your temperatures are ok, no need to change. There is no rule for pads, cuz some cards even new one from the box are terrible and need to repad even never work...

Kruno has the OC edition, i think the led is one of the changes.

best way is to open card and see it, ofc get all size pads before that

not tried, but alcohol cleaning better and drys faster, also it is not expensive..
The best option is Isopropilyc Alcohol, because the standard alcohol is very wet and a good amount of it, is water and that, is bad for electronics.
The Isopropylic Alcohol, almost doesn't have water, that's why it is recommended

You did not open the video card and did not check whether the GPU clamp is of good quality
You did not check the hotspot temperature.
99% of your 2mm gaskets are very thick and hard, and the hotspot is +25 degrees against the GPU
After all temps are more than correct, thats all what we want at the end 😉
