  • Hi Everyone and welcome back to travel in 2021 in China. This time let's explore Beihai, the beaches, and in the upcoming videos the beautiful island of Weizhou.
Beihai, chinesisch 北海市, ist eine bezirksfreie Stadt im Südosten des Autonomen Gebiets Guangxi der Zhuang in der Volksrepublik China, mit rund 1,53 Millionen Einwohnern.
Beihai Silver Beach, 8 kilometers from downtown Beihai, stretches about 24 kilometers from east to west. The beach width is 30-3,000 meters. The sand on the beach is the finest quartz sand, which will shine silver light under the sunlight, hence the name Silver Beach. The flat and soft beach is regarded as “the greatest beach in China” because of the fine and white sand, soft waves, clean seawater, and safe environment without sharks.
Silver Beach Beihai China is the ideal bathing beach and holiday resort. The beach itself is large enough to accommodate 10,000 people swimming at the same time. The water here has a strong ability for self - purification. Standing on the seaside, you can even see the scenery 2 meters underwater. Swimming here is also very safe because slow rising tide and the absence of dangerous sea creatures.
Even more exciting activities to do on the beach are experiencing the thrill of parasailing and motorboats, as well as fun beach sports like beach volleyball and beach soccer. Besides that, there is a Silver Beach Park with lots of amusement projects like bumper boats and go-karts.
On the beach is the largest musical sculpture fountain in Asia and is worth visiting. The ball-shaped sculpture is 23 meters high and 20 meters in diameter. This huge stainless steel sculpture symbolizes a great pearl guarded by 7 naked girls. Consisting of 5,250 nozzles and 3,000 colorful lamps, the fountain gushes out from water pillars at different angles and directions. There are 4 fountain shows every night and every show is 15 minutes long.
Besides that, there is an ecological square-built not far from the beach. With unique architectural modeling, this square encompasses over 30 pavilions and houses. In this square, you can view the Coconut Grove and rare birds’ performance, Vietnam and Russia’s customs show, and parasailing performances.

Nice vlog. I can't go back to China, or I can but it will be enormously difficult. I really miss it though.
I'm going to Vietnam next and was just reading about the ethnic Vietnamese that have lived around nearby Zhenzhu Gang for around 500 years - can you make a trip there for me? :D

Yeah it's super difficult to get along recently within China. Always to fear some area might get locked down overnight. It's not pleasant recently. Vietnam is OK though, I guess it will attract more foreign business in the future. Before my Vlogs I went to Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang in 2019 and it was bustling. I still prefer Thailand and the West coast of it around Phuket and Khao Lak 😁

@@Pixmosphere yes for beaches and scenery, Thailand definitely wins. But I don't like living in Bangkok, where I am now. Vietnam should be much better for mw long term.

@@cbrtdgh4210 yes if you have a related job that fits better into Vietnam I agree. I would also not move to Bangkok but rather to the Westcoast Area. Vietnam sure has some Charme and you get also everything there. Just on the East coast 😁 I think Vietnam will have a good future for Investors too. Thailand for me is a nice retirement place.
