Thanks for watching guys.. I got the date wrong I said 2022 but that wasn't right it was 2020 I meant to say haha! may whoever read this message have a blessed day and I wish you nothing but positivity, love, happiness and abundance in your life!
I was just thinking about commenting something like that. The game needs more Brendan Perlini’s. There sure are personalities but we need more. Super cool and encouraging to see.
Been a wings fan my whole life. I've seen you talk about players on all the teams you've played for and I think that's cool. Would you consider making a video about the wings organization? Stories, players, experiences ect. Would love the content!
Hockey players come across as the most down to earth ppl out of all the major sports, must be rough play keeping ego's in check :); loving those stories, keep it up!
this reminds me of a few hours i spent talking to a really pleasant guy at my work who played major junior in the 80s! i love these kinds of stories, you guys have a lot to say and the passion you have for your lives and friends really shines through!
Channel is growing! Looking forward to you on CHGO today… Maybe a video of a day in the life on the road, plane stories, dinner stories, bus travels, hotel stories etc! Would be a great video! Keep killing it Perls
Unwritten locker room rules would be a cool video. Hell I’d watch a podcast style chatting with a friend from hockey reminiscing on good times playing on the same team or against each other.
Was a big fan of yours when you played for the Red Wings! Hope all is well and glad to see you happy and doing something you enjoy. I think this channel is going to pop off with the stories you tell.
As an avid Wings fan, I love this type of content where we can dive into our favorite athletes on a personal level. I remember this incident and it was brutal to watch knowing full well what a skate cut feels like to the face. I caught one to the lip falling down many moons ago and the piercing pain mixed with the cold and the blood made it feel like it had ripped all the way through. Luckily all I needed was 6 stitches and was good to go. Worst part was the swelling and how sensitive it was when trying to eat food without irritating it. I'm glad everything went as well as it could and you were able to recover fully. I look forward to hearing more content from you. Hopefully you can make one about what it was like playing for Hockeytown and what it's like sitting across from Yzerman.
These stories are awesome man! Can already see improvement just from last video on your storytelling too. Keep it up bro this is awesome content thanks for sharing!
As a huge wings fan would love to hear some stories about the personalities, not even necessarily funny or just the positive ones. Keep up the entertaining videos👍
Thanks for always signing low cost contracts and being an absolute stud for me in NHL 🤣Red Wings die hard here and wish things could have worked out. Thanks for being a great example of hockey players being human!
Big fan of yours, perlz! Loved when my wings grabbed ya. I think you’ll gain a lot of fans with these videos, and love that it’s family friendly for the young ones too. Keep it up!
brendannnn 🥺🥺🥺 i remember being sooo so scared watching this game live!!! spent the whole rest of the game freaked out that you must have been absolutely dying in the dressing room or something. I remember it was such a relief once ken and mick mentioned you were up and well... it's so interesting to hear the story from your point of view though, definitely one of my favorite guys from the wings roster that season. 🤍❤
Sick channel. Would love to hear about your favorite arenas to play in and maybe some stories of the worst arenas/dressing rooms in the NHL as well as minors and juniors. Not sure if you got to play at the yotes when they were at the college rink but ive heard it was a pretty funky set up for NHL games.
Elite content. Very happy to find your page lately, love the positivity and great stories. Loved seeing you play on the wings, glad to see life is going well
Echoing what others have said. Love the authenticity you bring. Extremely cool to hear about your experiences playing in the greatest league in the world. Sending all the positive vibes right back at you. You’ve lived the dream, brother!
So crazy I can remember this game like yesterday, final score was 3-2 for sabers unfortunately. It was a pleasure watching you play for the red wings brother, thanks for everything on and off the ice. I still have a pretty decent size upper deck collection of your cards haha. Best of luck on everything in the future, I hope your TH-cam channel pops off, it’s great so far!
This is a great story, happy to have subscribed, can you tell us more about guys that you played with and also what a travel day would be like, the planes, the hotels that you would stay at in different cities and which hotels were your most and least favorite.
Oh man and you were there when Grabs practically lost his eye! That was a trip. We were playing so well that season too up to that point, PK was on fire.
Hey Brenden Great Vid btw, I would love to hear stories about more on your on-ice performances. Best goals you’ve scored, best player you’ve gone up against, best chirps, draft experience.
Enjoying your videos, big Wings fan here. Here's a couple future topics to consider: I'm curious about stadium accommodations for the players, what's typical, how's it at home vs. road, do different teams have better home spaces than others? What about players with visiting family, are you offered free tickets for them every time? What about equipment costs, is it on the players to pay for their sticks & gear?
Loved you on the oilers! Your positive energy/attitude I will always remember pleasure watching you live out your dream! Appreciate this behind the scenes stuff this is awesome and a crazy story
I remember being thrilled when you came to Detroit. Had some solid years yrs in AZ and Chicago. You play the game the right way. I thought you got abit shortchanged here in Detroit, low ice time, no PP (if I remember right), no offensive line mates. Plus it was the Wings worst year in decades. It’s crazy how opportunity and circumstances can dictate a career. You’re an NHL player, you’ll make it back. Good luck with the channel, great content, looking forward to more videos bro.
Hi man! These vids are awesome, I was literally playing NHL 17 franchise mode for nostalgia and since I used Arizona as a base team (and relocated them to Houston (this was before the announcment lol) you were in the game!!
Shoutout to bogosian foreal. That’s a class move by that man. Also glad you’re alright buddy. You showed effort every night when you were with the Oil. We appreciate you 🙏🏼
Brendan it looks like you got the old Sweet Chin Music, glad nothing permanent happened, miss watching you in Detroit, you seriously seem like a real genuine guy
This is such a cool video... thank you for sharing! It is so interesting to hear about this stuff we don't see on tv. Also, very glad you were all good cause that was scary to watch
A few years ago while picking up wood in the forest I got a tree branch in my eye. I honestly thought I had lost it forever. I went back to our cottage and looked in the mirror and it was nasty looking with bits of branches, blood and also the white of my eye had been punctured just a bit and yellow stuff was coming out of it. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere so it was about two hours of me freaking out on my way to the hospital. Luckily my eye kinda "rolled" with the branch. I was given eye drops and cream and after a few weeks I was alright... But in the heat of the moment you freak out because you feel so vulnerable, and only then you realize how lucky we are to be able to see things. As for ideas for future videos here's mine: - How did you begin getting hooked on ice hockey? Who was your childhood hockey hero? - What were the sacrifices made by your family, friends and yourself to get to the NHL? - What are unsung perks of being in the NHLPA, travel-wise, food-wise, etc.? - Which all time team would you like to play for if you could? And finally, enough with the t-shirts foreshadowing it... We need a pro wrestling video now! How did you become a fan? What's your top 5 favorite wrestlers? Best wrestling match? WWE or AEW? Current favorite wrestler?
Love your videos man, very interesting stuff, I hope to see some more something like The Best Chirps from your teammates said or the other team have said.. or the best speech you heard from the locker room during the intermission.. anyways, this is great I'm actually excited to see more videos lol #LGRW
Lovin these Hockey related videos! Should do another player rating video with some other players you played with. Share some other cool memories! Anything hockey related is still sick though! Miss you in Edmonton buddy.
Man, I actually remember that game! I was on a work trip in a bar in North Carolina and it was on TV. I was watching it absentmindedly and then I saw a player down on the ice and my heart sunk when I realized it was you. I totally thought you'd lost it as well. That was a classy move by Bogo to come make sure you were alright.
Yo I love these videos man. Was a big fan of yours when you were in Edmonton, hope life is treating you well! Excited for the future of your channel! 🧡💙🧡💙 I also remember when this injury happened, glad you ended up OK in the long run!
Just found your channel. I'm subscribed. My team is the LA Kings. During the playoffs I'm rooting for the Florida Panthers. Been a fan of hockey since 1981, thanks to my dad. Between my brother and I (female) my dad always talked to me about hockey. My dad bought 2 season tickets to the ducks first season... my brother and I was arguing about who my dad was going to take to opening night. My dad walked into the room and we asked him who he was going to take. My dad smiled and pointed to me. 😂 love the channel will keep watching.
I have never seen an nhl player whether he still be playing or not he so open about the BTS of being a professional hockey player and it is so awesome dude! Thanks for sharing 👌
great story mate. would love to see you catch up with some old team mates. as a yotes fan would love to see you catch up with some of the guys from that era. don't know if you played with Craig Cunningham but would love to know how he's going
When you talk to media after games, are you actually thinking about the questions or do you have different thoughts that cross your mind? It seems like hockey players have a script to every question. Would love to see a video about this topic. Loving the channel
Are you back living in Michigan? Can you do a video n talk about that 2011-12 Belle Tire team. My cousin is Cody Gibson. I was just getting out of the USMC then. Thanks broski lol n get a bigger TV 😁
As an autograph collector, i'd like to hear your opinion on autograph collectors and different variations of them from casual collectors to dealers who hang in hotels, airports etc.
Hey Brendan love the content. As a hockey player from Lausanne Switzerland it would be really cool to see you do a video of your experience playing abroad there!
Great that your injury didn't have a major impact on your career and life overall cause that could've been really bad 🙏 also I just love that your reasoning to get back on the ice wasn't toughness or anything like that but just that your mom would whoop ya ass if you didn't keep playing 🤣🤣🤣 awesome video once again man! 🔥💪
From a life-long Red Wings fan, and at one time in my life, foolish youth aspiring to play for the hometown team, thanks for the insider view. I remember this moment. Terrifying stuff really. Almost makes me glad I never made it.
I'm from buffalo I was at this game and I felt horrible for you and was praying you were gonna be ok never wish harm to anybody even if they are on the other team
Thanks for all these videos man, its incredibly refreshing and amazing. Lots of of love from the netherlands, why are you not playing for great brittain right now with your brother? Your definitely good enough, my dad is a huge fan of you and your bro. Keep going man, this is really amazing! Nothing but the best to you, your family and your friends. 💪🏼
Injuries are so scary the moment they happen but usually after a month or two for certain injuries you won't even feel it so it's really not fun and I like seeing these kinda vids on hockey players lives off the ice
Holy hell dude! Val filpulla was still on the team less than 5 years ago. Didn’t watch the wings much that year for obvious reasons, but hope we can see you in a griffins/wings jersey again later in your career! Cheers
I think that what makes this cooler is not only has it not done been before but Perlini is a well known nhl player . Yeah he’s not a household name but if you’re a fan of the nhl you’ll remember Brendan perlini. Cool guy. Seems awesome! Can you tell us more about your English background? Cause doesn’t your brother play for team GB? Forgive me, I may be talking shit hahaha awesome work

@bubzp11 which was your favourite organization to play for?
@@garrettcabot722 chicago obviously lol
@@garrettcabot722 Detroit!
@@the.wayne.b it's that obvious? Omg
This is so cool man. We never get this “close” to an NHL player and get the behind the scenes stuff. Please keep this up!
I was just thinking about commenting something like that. The game needs more Brendan Perlini’s. There sure are personalities but we need more. Super cool and encouraging to see.
We got Brandan Perlini on TH-cam before GTA 6 and Im all in for it !
Seems like such a cool dude too!

The little detail about Bogosian is awesome. That's the kinda stuff I love to hear. Thanks for the vid. Keep em coming man.
Been a wings fan my whole life. I've seen you talk about players on all the teams you've played for and I think that's cool. Would you consider making a video about the wings organization? Stories, players, experiences ect. Would love the content!
I second this.
it's amazing to hear the honest opinion of an nhl player instead of "yeah theyre a great team we have to work together and put pucks in deep"
Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking!!
Hockey players come across as the most down to earth ppl out of all the major sports, must be rough play keeping ego's in check :); loving those stories, keep it up!
You carried my NHL 18-20 franchise modes
Lol right? something about that game had a thing for him 😂
this reminds me of a few hours i spent talking to a really pleasant guy at my work who played major junior in the 80s! i love these kinds of stories, you guys have a lot to say and the passion you have for your lives and friends really shines through!
Injuries like that are so scary. Skate to the face, neck or wrist. Scary stuff.
These videos are great! It's really fascinating to get a glimpse behind the scenes. Please keep making these!
You seem like such a chill, laid back dude. Stuff like this is unreal content. You lived the dream man, best of luck with the next chapter of life!!
Hahaha 😆

Have you ever been pranked by a teammate, or have you ever pranked anyone (or accompanied anyone in pranks)

You got a good thing going Perls!! Us benders dont get this inside view hardly at all. Hope you get the subs you deserve brother!!
Also nice to see a fellow wrestling fan!
Love your channel! Also, would love to know what your favorite arena to play in was and why. Thanks!

This is my biggest fear about ever playing hockey. The Adam Johnson tragedy happening recently and Evander Kane's accident in 2022 did not help that phobia either.
