I missed this one somehow! This is also what I most often use to warm up :). It's also usually the only thing I remember when I've forgotten all the other repertoire that I set out to learn haha. It's always been with me and I really like your version!
Thanks, Tate. I love that you use it to warm up as well. Given the tempo indication of andantino, I don't think Carulli intended it to be as slow as I play it, but I think it sounds so much better that way. Somehow playing it faster makes it sound more like a beginner piece to me.
Great music
Thank you for listening!
Beautiful rendition of this essential of our repertoire! 👌
Thanks, Blaise! I never grow tired of playing it (and I suspect you are the same).
@@ericphillips7057 Absolutely!
This is a real gem! So well played Eric! As someone wrote earlyer, very tender. Carulli has composed a lot of appealing pieces.
Thanks!

Thank you, Tobias! I have been playing several Carulli pieces these days.

@ Absolutely! Many beginner pieces can sound more difficult than they actually are when played under musically sensitive fingers!
Bravo Eric, very tender 🙌🏼
Thank you, Juan!
Very focused and sensitive playing, a pleasure to listen to.
