    Every climate suitable? Great lords, magic, artillary, infantry, ranged, monsters and cavalry? An economy that will snowball and dominate late game? Maybe a tad OP...

      The start is painfully slow, the units are powerful but very limited in number, and increasing the number available comes at the cost of reducing your economic growth cos you need to use raw materials to make armaments to do that. Also, the units are strong but the lords are really middling at best rather than "great". They aren't bad, but they're certainly not as good as vampires or chaos lords for example. I wouldn't say they were OP at all, in fact, in what might be a first for CA, they're more or less perfectly balanced

    Not sure if it was mentioned but in regard to Factories, at level 2, the barracks building "Ore Level" increases hero capacity +1 for Infernal Castellan. This can be a solid way to bump up your count.

    I dislike how labour always goes down, meaning you’ll always be bleeding labour
    But hay the chorf economy seems really strong to its worth it, also what tower of Zharr thing give labourers

    • @unholyxeras8182
      @unholyxeras8182 ปีที่แล้ว

      It makes sense, chaos dwarfs really don't value sla- I mean labourers lives, so they work them to death. Also, it provides an impetus to always be raiding, sacking settlements and attacking your neighbour's armies to capture more labourers, and just generally be a bad guy, which is fine, cos they are not peaceful good guy types at all.

    I so much disagree with your understanding of a convoy... they are meant to be invested in ! They can become so SO much stronger and only cost what you decide to pay for. And the lord have such powerful buffs! Its always worth to bet on investment with those armies, you can even attach heroes on them, its hard but worth it !

      Probably worth giving up the cargo to make it bigger as it travels.

    What Ogre and other units would you suggest mixing into Chaos dwarf stacks via Ogre Camps and recruitment buildings in allied cities?

    Too many mechanics?! Who is making that argument?! I just want to talk to them!

    • @kyubii972
      @kyubii972 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thankfully none of them are in-depth and they all seem to be taken from other factions already in the game.
      Ivory road from Cathay, slaves from the dark elves, unique upkeep costs similar to the meat from ogres, the relics literally stolen rom the dwarves, and most likely many rigs taken directly from existing dwarves.
      Don't get me wrong they look cool.
      But a lot of this is basically just reused mechanics with different flavor.
      Frankly I'm fine with stuff being reused to save dev time as long as it's fun.
      But I'm not okay with an increase price tag for less content. Especially when they've used tricks to cut corners and save time.

    Question for any experienced strategist here: I'm playing a campaign with a friend (we're at about turn 30) who has way more experience than me and who plays chaos dwarfs. He has had a solid start, I got too greedy and needed a lot of time to recover. What can I do to stop him, I feel like it's very tricky to fight his armies directly and his resources vastly outshine mine, so a war of attrition is not viable.

    I would rather learn a new game than learn a new DLC faction for the game I've already played.
