Excellent, this is how a DIY video is done well. Straight to the point with a clear demonstration, and without eight minutes of pontificating before getting to the point.
Thanks!
Excellent instructions. Informative and straight to the point. If only all video guides were made like this.
Thanks!
A fantastic video - 1 minute and 24 seconds of massively useful information, expertly demonstrated. When these key fob batteries expire after years of normal operation, suddenly your car won't let you open the door without setting-off the alarm, nor let you start the engine. Thank you so much!
Thanks! Glad it helped
Thanks for the video. I figured the two halves just pried apart but glad to see it done first to confirm. I've busted a lot of plastic trying to open something up the wrong way over the years.
You're Welcome!
Thank You !!! Very simple but not a second wasted. No need to blunder through a task when one can get such helpful guidance. Thanks.

THANK YOU! I thought that I would have to replace the key fob originally. Then I found out that the battery could be replaced, and was going to take it somewhere to have it done. But, after seeing this, I can just do it myself.
You are welcome! Glad it helped
@@PYR-Auto You're the best! It WAS that easy! I honestly thought that I would have to buy a new key fob lol.So much cheaper.
Excellent straightforward diy video. Thank you!
You're Welcome!
Good "how-to" video that kept the major parts always in view - the fob, the battery, the straight 'driver and our fingers. Many thanks -- it is kinda tough unlocking the car when the battery is dead : /
Thanks! glad it helped

I'm wondering, does the key fob need to be reprogrammed/ synched to the vehicle again? I have had issues with programming a replacement fob before, and I'm not really in the mood for a 'surprise'.
No - the fob should not need to be re-programmed after just changing the battery
The fob(A) might not function after replacing the battery, but it doesn't need reprogramming. If you have 2 fobs(A&B), try unlocking the car with the functioning one(B), then lock it with the unresponsive one(A). Once you do this, fob(A) should work as normal again.
@@Phataku what if you don’t have two fobs 😬😬😬
@@ashwill9873 I don't know. Every car I've purchased has come with two. If you don't have two, then you'd need to follow the steps to reprogram.
I tried 2 batteries and nutin! ??
