    Ewheels is giving Hou NingNing bearings free with the pro. My stock rollers were smoked after 300 miles. I’m at 700 miles on the Ning bearings and they are perfect still

      Damn, I really need to get me a set of that NingNing as they just look like way better quality. Thanks for the tip and feedback.

    It's straight forward enough to epoxy and/or screw in a carbon or fiberglass leaf spring to the bottom of that seat to add stiffness. You can even just lay up the cloth in place.

      Great thank you for the feedback. I will have to look as something like that. Good tip.

    Hey Andre, glad you're enjoying the s22. But it would seem you're not riding it much. I got 1200kms on my T4, primarily offroad on mtb trails & single tracks plus >4k kms on the ex30. All since Apr '23. Only thing I've done a bit of wd40 on the T4 linkage when it started squeaking. Nothing on the ex30 cept ride it fast & furious. While 35kg might be a heavyweight a coupla years ago, its almost a lightweight nowadays 😅. Good is that my 48kg ex30 has made me a much rider in utilising technique rather than just pure muscling. Bonus is the T4 feels like an MCM5 on trails now. Now go & put some more miles on it 🤘

      That is some serious miles, where are you based as I know the US guys smash out the mile like no tomorrow where I struggle to get a long enough route to run the battery down in one run. I do get close but then I have to do a few loops and make up the miles. That T4 looks like a great wheel for trails as its light and it looks super agile. On the weight side I do agree that the bigger wheel we are all now use too but for the new riders that is still allot of weight to get use to while trying to learn how to ride. I had the monster pro for a few weeks and the slim trails and road where I live its just not a fun wheel. For the open roads its all good and rides like a dream. I will get out and ride more thanks for the motivation.

      @@Andre-Mostert I live in Canuckistan aka Canada 😁. No doubt I've the landmass advantage where even the province of Alberta is multiples of UK. Plus we've >1k kms of dedicated paved bike pathways in my city of Calgary. Plus of dirt detours everywhere anywhere & giant intercity parks with mtb trails galore. But then in this winter wonderland, our riding season is 6-8mths max. Give some get some

      Awesome, yes I have seen you get some good summers and proper winters not like here in the UK where its mostly moist lol

    At 72 this is my first wheel. I have a proud 80kms on it now.
    How much further must I go before before it lets me go fast?
    If you are on an old age pension, you might not have the budget to buy a whole lot of training wheels, so just take your lumps and bumps until you are off and running.

      Its usually about 10 - 15 miles before its unlocked. You need to check the app and up the speed. Best to use the Kingsong app for the first part and then you can jump over to EUCWorld if you like that app more. Glad you are on the wheel and never to old to learn new tricks. If you go slow and keep it safe then there is nothing better to ride than an EUC. My main bits of gear is wrist guards and a good helmet. Knees and elbow is also covered. This is why I ride with motorcycle gortex trousers as they have the hip and knee protectors in and can take the beating if I do come off. Keep well and keep on rolling.

    Now why I'm watching videos on the S22 when I have the Master I don't know, but whatever 🙂. I did come close to buying the S22. Big wheels, as you say they have their place, I still ride my S18 and I still really like it. Maintenance? On the Master and the S18 for that matter I regularly lube the shock and the suspension travel with Oxford Mint Cycle Dry Lube. I also regularly check the tyre pressure (about 29psi, not too high). Otherwise just a wipe down with a damp cloth. Jury's still out on off-road tyres, I'm riding on an off-road, because I have been too lazy to change it. I am still thinking I might prefer a road tyre as I'm not an off road person generally.

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great stuff and thank you for the feedback. Yes this is so true, these wheels really need very little maintenance and this is what I like. Tyre pressure is also one thing that you can forget to check as when it runs down you get use to the feel. For me the offroad tyre all the way just because the canal path is so muddy. Thanks for the comment

    Thank you for a great vid. How do you adjust the suspension and how to find the best adjustments? What generation of the engine do you have? Have you heard any strong sounds of the engine when you accelerate? How about vibration sounds? I think I have them a lot compared to my KS-18.

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  ปีที่แล้ว

      Suspension,
      I count the clicks from one end to the other and adjust to the middle as a good starting point. On the rebound I have say about clicks more to the slow side. For the compression I have in the middle. This is for gravel and offroad riding. A slow rebound is to help with big hits or jumps and faster is for smaller little holes to keep the tyre on the ground.
      Wheel generation
      I have the first gen wheel with the so called motor problem. Mine was pinned at PET and I have a two year warranty so if anything goes bad they can support or fix the wheel. I have had no issues with the wheel so far.
      Strong sounds
      There is the normal motor wine on heavy acceleration but no other sounds at all. Suspension squeaks but that is about it.
      Vibrations
      I was going along a strait road this morning at a fairly high speed and I was thinking to myself how well and smooth this wheel runs. I have no vibrations but I had to reseat my tyre a few times to get it to run or seat solid on the rim.
      There is also a good gap between the tyre and the mudguard and that helps with keeping stones and mud that causes noises.
      Hope this helps.
      Andre

    I bought my first Euc 2 months ago. I got the kingsong s18 and I really like it. However I have recently been wanting something a bit faster. I am considering the s22 pro and sherman s. What is your average range on the s22? I would imagine the pro would have a bit less. I also don't know if i want to go from a wheel that is 50lbs to one that is 100lbs. This is why im considering the s22 pro, well the price aswell.

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi and great to see a new rider. Awesome man. I had the S18 and really loved the wheel but I wanted a bit more range and speed. I used to have a Sherman too and loved the massive range of about 95 miles where my S18 would give me about 25miles. Yes I can go slower and get more but I use my wheel to get to work and back and you get use to the trails. The S18 also did not have a big gap between the tyre and the mudguard and with the more street tyre the mud would keep on getting clogged up in there. No major but can be a pain to clean. When I move to the S22 I got more range, (40miles then its finished). I would have loved for 50 miles but this can be made more as you know by going slower. Another great thing of the S22 is the tyre and the suspension. The tyre clears mud and gravel without an problems and its good on the road. The suspension is good if you have the sliders like the Pro has. Mine is half broken but with 8 rollers there are some to cover the broken ones. But the suspension is super smooth. I think the Patton would be better but I still need to ride one to compare.
      Price is good and its not too weighty. Its now classed as mid range wheel. For me its or the S22 or the Patton. I think the Patton will have less maintenance needs just because of the suspension design. The new Begode Extreme also looks interesting but way too much money. Hope this helps.

    What is the range for normal ridding

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  ปีที่แล้ว

      For my type of riding I get 40 miles. This might be a bit on the faster side but I dont rate myself as a super fast rider. I would say if you keep to around 22mph you should get just under the 50 miles. I am also a 75kg rider if that helps. But man I do like this wheel. Hope this helps and if you have more questions just shout.

    Hi Andre; wich wheel is your favourite one until now from all of the wheels you have ever ridden ? Is it the Sherman max ? Or a wheel with suspension? Thank you greetings from Vienna ;)

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just spotted your comment, I would say Sherman Max or OG for best wheel for me out of all of them but I am really enjoying my S22 at the moment and only wish for a bit more range. I know the Patton and Lynx are great wheels but the lynxs is just too much money and I would like to try and ride a patton soon. There is also the V14 but I have not had much fun feel on the V12 so I need to ride that one too. The Kingsong S19 and S16 looks to me like more street wheels as I look for a wheel with an off road tyre as stock. Only because I dont want to have to find a tyre and then go about replacing it. Hope this helps.

      @@Andre-Mostert Thank you for your answer! … I’m thinking of an sherman max for the last 4 months and yes ,was wishing for this answer of yours! :)). I’m on a Kingsong 16x but feel like my next wheel will be a sherman max. I love my Kingsong 16x but some times it just could be a little faster and more range would be great as well. Again thank you for your answer! If you once come to Vienna ,let me know, and I will be happy to show you around the city! All the best and thank you for your great videos , it’s alleays a pleasure watching u go around on the wheels and hearing your thoughts! All the best!

      Awesome, yes if you can get a Max you will enjoy it, well I hope so lol. It was a great wheel and I enjoyed every mile on it. Solid, no creeking, massive range and a soft tyre that sounds like a train and handle the gravel well. Just make sure its inflated correctly for your weight as I bent my rim from hitting a tree root and with the weight of the wheel and me on it its a massive force. But that was easely repaired. Keep well and hope you can get one soon.
      This to look out for if you buying second hand
      - tyre tread
      - check the rim both sides for any wobble
      - see if you can get side pads with the wheel
      - make sure the light works as its a good solid light
      - make sure the tail light works
      - check that the wheel charge to full in an all like darknessbot or eucworld
      - check the trolly handle
      - make sure the screen buttons work
      Enjoy and keep well.

      @@Andre-Mostert hey André, one more question because you know both wheels the Kingsong 16 x and the Sherman max , I wanted to ask you if it is really worth to change the ks 16 x to the Sherman? What do you say ? I really trust your thoughts! Thank you for the help all the best marc

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oooh now this is a question. For me the 16X is a great wheel but the Sherman was a better ride. Its almost like the way the weight was carried on the wheel was low and it was super stable and the fat tyre made for a good smooth ride. Also the tyre is for me key for the riding I do. Gravel, road and then mud when its wet. The Sherman was for me a wheel that I could grab any time and it aways had enough battery to do any ride. But if you are on the fence it might be worth going to an suspension wheel for the upgrade to get the biggest change. But then again its for what you doing to be using the wheel and if you looking for a solid do it all wheel without suspension then the Sherman Max would be my first choice. Hope this helps and shout if you have more questions.

    I have A S22 pro and Sherman, indeed very torque wheel digs out of loose sand, strong motor , very soft suspension and drives like a Cadillac, also in the forest . thats the good. My S22 pro vibrates furious when I stop, rail system? And that stupid app , I really prefure my Sherman when I need to go for shoppings, no apps needed. If somebody knows how to get around that app , and bad Bluetooth of the S22? I just want it to start up when I push the button. Like every wheel I know.

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting, I jump between the EUC World and Kingsong App on my Android phone and not had any issues with it. When I launch the app it auto connects and I can track my ride if I want. I have been starting to use Strava if I want to map my route via my phone and its working well. I dont really use the apps that much, only really to check for new firmware.
      Now on the breaking is this a vibrate or a wobble? I do not experience this at all. I had to do some hard breaking just yesterday next to the canal from about 22mph and the wheel is like its on a track. Can if be that you running the tyre maybe too hard or too soft. My only thing that I would have like on this wheel is more range 10 miles more and the sliders should have been sorted from the go. The ningning sliders sounds to be working much better than the stock kingsong ones. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment.

    while doing that slow trail that helmet might be ok, but you really should be wearing a proper motorcycle helmet for the speed euc's can do, and the type of crashed euc's have.

      @Andre-Mostert  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agree and I am looking at some better options at the moment. Its been in the back of my mind now for some time. Again thanks for the push. Any suggestion?

    • @TheNazradin
      @TheNazradin 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Andre-Mostert any Full face rated helmet. FIM ECE Snell and DOT are the order of quality of standard , with FIM being most stringent. But these are for motorcycling, so you won't be pushing any rated helmet on an ecu.
      Don't fall for the style over substance, like some youtubers. Predator helmets are overpriced, over rated not good for ecu's.
      I have a couple of expensive motorcycle race helmets, which are great . But for pev riding my budget LS2, I have personally crash tested. With a 60kph to zero sudden stop , landing on a concrete bollard with my head.

    • @Andre-Mostert
      @Andre-Mostert  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great, I use a C3 Pro for my motorbike but its a bit on the heavy side and also been looking at the LS2 for a second helment for the bike and then to use it on the EUC. I was also looking at some Ski helmets as they are rated for higher speed but then dont have a chin guard and I dont like the look of that one that does have the thin chin guard. Thanks for the tips.
