The only men who complain about the age gap are men who can't get women in their low twenties. I have had those arguments thrown at me. I'm 52, in shape and make good money. Recently took up roller blading and have met a lot of women in their 20's and have gone out with some of them and there's always some fat loser telling me I'm a predator because those women chose to go out with me.

I do agree men can improve by hitting the gym, skincare, better social skills, etc, making themselves more attractive within their market at most ages.
Per Sadia’s point, it’ll still be difficult for most 40+ men to compete with younger men, say 26-30, for women in their early 20s.
In Mike’s case, he is in solid shape for 40+, but I’d argue his biggest selling point is his top status in Vegas nightlife and owning an 8-fig biz with MOA. Those 2 make him, and most of his guests, extreme outliers.
I’d argue the guy in Mike’s shape making $90k (solidly above average) with decent social skills could do well with women in their 30s, but hot 20 year olds would be tough.
In your 20's, you are judged on your potential. In your 40's, you are judged on your results. Michael obviously is well above the average 46 year-old man, and has significantly WAY more choice than most men his age. Sure, there are a segment of women who would prefer an older man...but they usually leave out the qualifier of "successful" older man (still has his health, has significant wealth, is calm and grounded...or has all three).

Rollo has mentioned muscle, money and game to peak later. However, when you crunch the numbers and look for guys doing noticeably above average on all 3, plus relevant things like face and height, you may have 1%-3% of guys making the cut at 40.
