As someone who loves to play healer in most games, I completely get what Ellen means. It's like working in garbage disposal; nobody thanks you for it but it's vital anyway.

That reminds me how in Portal 2’s co-op there is always that one asshole who purposely tries to kill you over and over. (I wish Portal 2 were on Switch Co-op would be amazing)
Luke, cheesing a Dark Souls/Sekiro boss has, and always will be, a completely legitimate strategy. They put these mechanics in there and, as long as it’s not glitching the boss, it’s legit.
he said that he might leave the game if he got stuck on a boss, i hope he ended becoming decent enough for stopping that before sword saint, finally finishing that fight feels amazing.

Sounds like there could be more meet and greets later in the year. If you've never met Luke and Ellen and you get the chance -go for it. I think that they regard the fans as the real stars of the show and that's how they make you feel. Awesome experience.

I'm a bit sad Bloodborne is almost never mentioned whenever the Soulsborne series is being talked about, even though (in my humble opinion) it's probably the best of the series.

@@jennifervalentine8955 In Bloodborne Rom always looked more pillbug-like to me. And the little ones with her are at least somewhat comical when they crash headfirst into the ground. Now if we are talking about the ones in the Mensis school Nightmare area, THOSE are horrifying.

was it meant to be a secret that they're always moving their feet, I thought everyone knew that
I also cheesed Lady Butterfly on my first playthrough. (dodge, attack once, repeat) Going back in NG+ with a better understanding of the combat system and beating her first try w/o cheese is super satisfying. Hang in there and it'll be worth it.
Believe it or not but the hardest achievement in Sekiro is getting all the skill points, it was the last one I needed for 100% and it required 3 hours of grinding.

As someone who plays flute, I can confirm that Sekiro is harder. 😥

It's okay, Luke! The first time I beat lady butterfly, I had to cheese her, too. But after I learned the battle system more, it feels so godlike beating hard enemies!
As far as Sekiro goes, I too was having a LOT of trouble with it, but after a particular point, it finally just clicked, and I understood how it worked. I'm not sure I can explain it, but the rhythm of the enemies can be understood on a kind of- this is going to sound really stupid, but a kind of primal, subconscious level. Once I got it, so to speak, all of a sudden it was much, much easier. Still ruthless, but if you are having trouble with it, rest assured that there is a natural kind of rhythm that once you understand, it gets much easier.

Indeed it has been an amazing few weeks on content from Oxboxtra. i have throughly enjoyed the DnD live shows. They have been entertaining and really the best way to introduce someone new to the concept of DnD and how it works. The fact that everyone has put some of their own traits into the characters fleshes them out to a great degree and adds to the enjoyment of the shows you all do. Thank you all for the great content.

The posture damage of enemies goes down faster the more vitality damage you inflict, especially when vitality is below 50%. This also holds true for Sekiro; you need to keep your vitality up so that your posture damage goes down quickly. Also, you need to keep your guard up! Holding the guard button lowers posture damage more quickly than not doing so.

Little tip for Ellen - You can draw Casper the Friendly Ghost in approximately 4 seconds. An you can even use one line style for it.

Hey Luke unfortunately every souls game but the first has fast travel right from the start, only DS1 really captures that sense of a cohesive world.
Also my one tip for Sekiro is that you get a full half a second of deflection the first time you press the block button, but if you spam it you lose 75% of that window.

Icam here - I know. I am so jealous of the skills that everyone has. When we were at school we had to knit a square of wool. My finished square looked more like a ball of wool than the ball of wool that I used to knit it. After many many other attempts at making things, I have realised that I have the crafting abilities of a small bungalow.

I don't like games that are intentionally hard. I prefer to make my own life hard. Like loading a save for a stealth game 500 times because I was kinda detected and want a perfect stealth rating.
