You can finish the Last Guardian very quickly depending on how well you pay attention to his cues and go out of your way to do bonding activities with him The more you are bonded the quicker he responds.

Ellen is the cutest but in the most respectable way possible, by that I mean she's literally got the cutest laugh in the existence of mankind. She's so sweet as a human being.
I got The Last Guardian in 2016 and I only just got told YOU CAN CLEAN TRICO?!?!? I knew you could pull out spear if he was wounded, but cleaning? Well, nothing else for it, going to have to play the entire game again.

Oh god don't come for my heart with Shawn Ashmore not being able to turn back human. Animorphs traumatised me, there was a bit in the books where one character almost gets stuck as halfway between a fly and human, so he's just a mass of giant fly bits mixed with human parts. And another character gets stuck as a bird. Fantastic series.

Alternatively Mike in his (presumably cramped) sports car road tripping the kiddos to pax whilst Ellen is complaining about being hungry and Luke keeps asking if they're there yet.
New Fan Theory: Jane is a huge fan of Dr. Jumba Jookiba and trying to recreate Stitch! Proof:
1. Experiment that escaped is dangerous and also not the first to escape
2. Mentions anti-gravity in Jane's lab which lines up to what most people think- space has no gravity BUT it actually does have a small amount and thus explains Luke falling but being here the next week with no injuries
3. Ellen casually mentioned Disney right after the mention of Jane's escaped experiment
4. Luke's Labrador looks more like a deformed Stitch than a dog and is actually Luke's scarred subconscious trying to warn us all of the horrors he has faced while down in Jane's lab
Yep. It all adds up. The science checks out. No, this is not just because I love the idea of Jane saying "I prefer to be called 'Evil Genius'" and have been waiting for an episode that supports my bias to come out.

I played through most the Last Guardian recently with my son (now 3). He started off being a bit wary of "the big dragon with feathers" but grew to absolutely adore him...
We got quite far through the story, but I looked ahead to what happens at the end, and decided that as far as my son is concerned the canonical ending is that Trico lived happily ever after at the top of a castle with his little human friend.
We've now moved on to "the wolf that paints" (see if you can work out which game that is). I'm sure there won't be any awkward situations i need to explain there!

God I loved Animorphs... it's what got me into reading when I was young (I hatedddd reading, now I read like a book a day so thanks animorphs! haha)
