- Took a few laps around Sugar House Park today with the GoPro. Shot with the wrong settings, but still got a few shots out of it, so I threw this together.

Videos are aces man , last one was 6 months ago! Need more of em. Question though I see a lot of stopping videos around but none for speed skaters ...when I get going they feel like a Mack truck . Seems silly but besides distance how do you slow it down from speed

Hello Joey, why am I so hard to turn using speed skates? Especially when turning parallel, it is not as easy as using fitness skates.
Would you please make a video on how to turn using speed skates?
By the way, I've only been learning speed skating for 1 month and I'm quick to master the technique because I have a pretty good body balance.

feels good to me, but i dont skate on my inlines very often so it's probably not a fair assessment for racing

Hi everyone! Not sure that Joey will read the comments. I'm really willing to do my best, but I haven't got that much of experience. Can anybody tell me or send a link to a set of really helpful exercises that could be done every day at home without special trainers?
I'm not sure that my exercise bike can help alot.

If you can ride a road bike for about an hour or half pretty much everyday , it would be really good for cross training.😊
