luckily my wife has just finished decorating aswell and I have wire wool, I was thinking to use it in a long exposure whilst setting fire to it and create 'fire circles' but my wife pointed out that I may set fire to the Newfoundland dog (they are a bit fuffy to be honest), so this is a great alternative that won't involve the RSPCA! You have great talanent to see things and create, keep up the good work Lee, thanks.
Hi Lee, It is a wonderful video. I already have the lights and mister. I also have the "Steel Wool Balls" as they are called in the USA. It is an old box of 35 to 40 years old. It was used to clean an outdoor grill. I will make it this week. Thank you
Hello USA, thank you kindly for stopping by to send me such a wonderful message. We do call them steel wool here in the UK as well but as you know we are daft in the UK and try and make things technical lol. Trust me you will have hours of fun I am still messing around with this idea as I think there must be a way to make it easier
By the way, I failed miserably with the milk and acrylic paint. No nice colors like yours, just muddy. I will give it another try soon.@@LeeHallphotography
Hi buddy trust me it is great fun I had a few hours playing around with it and I must say I am still playing around now with it trying to make it even better and easier
So look forward to your videos, Lee. I already have all the props on hand for this exercise as I’ve purchased the lights & mister based upon your previous videos. They are the BOMB! Will give this a go in the coming weeks. Love your simplicity and budget conscious style. Spreading the word to my other photography friends!
God bless you Bev I absolutely love your message and support. Please do pass on my channel to your friends it really helps me keep this little channel plodding along
Hi Alan thank you 🙏 it’s so nice to be back and to be creative once again it makes me feel fantastic again. I hope you have been keeping well with your self
Hello my friend thank you ever so much. I really have missed doing these little videos and talking to people. I promise I am back into the swing of things again now. Hope you and your family are all keeping well
That was awesome!! I would never have looked at steel wool and thought, “that would make a great picture”. You have an amazing creative talent!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Trish thank you kindly. It really is amazing what you can find around the house to use. I am always thinking what can I use next lol. Hope you are keeping well and safe
I get so excited when I see you have a new video!! Thank you!! I’ve taken a few photos I’d love to share with you. How do I do that? Also, do you have a way for me to donate towards your channel?
Great idea with the wool. I may try that this week, looks like fun. I ordered 2 of the misters you have and both were broken so I may stick to my spray bottle, hopefully will still get lots of waterdrops 😊
Brilliant Lee and you’ve got such good imagination and foresight of how you think things will turn out and who would have thought wire wool could look so good 👍🏽
Hello my friend thank you kindly. I just had to try it out and see what Happens it works well but I still think I could make it easier and better somehow
Hi Lee! You are an inspiration! I absolutely love the water droplet techniques on the glue sticks. I have created some amazing pictures with that technique. Keep doing what you are doing. Your video's are much appreciated!! And always get my creative juices going.
Awww god bless you my dear friend I absolutely appreciate your kind words it really means a lot to me. Without kind words like this I would off probably packed it all in. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart
Hi Lee, I have watched a few of your videos in the last week or so. I have subscribed to your channel and I would just like to say that you are doing an amazing job with your content and presentation. My macro lens has been pretty much redundant for the last couple of years. You have inspired me to dig it out and start using it again. Keep up the great work Lee, you are a true inspiration.
Hi maté welcome to my TH-cam family. I really appreciate your kind comment and support. I am on a mission this year to try and do more videos than ever
Awesome videos Lee! I discovered your channel last night, and today I spent the afternoon playing with some water drop photography using my Olympus 60mm macro lens! My wife suggested we use one of her dresses as the back ground and the results were fantastic! Thanks mate, keep up the amazing work!
Good day my friend thank you for taking the time to send me such a fantastic message. You must have a really good wife like me to let you use her clothes as backgrounds. I often have done this until I got blue ink on one of her tops lol. What I do now is go around the second hand shops and try and find some old curtains. And chop them up. I am so glad you are having fun and getting Great results it makes all these videos worth while
Lee, I can't believe you could forsee how to use that, and then have it work so well! I don't have an atomizer and I don't have colored little lights, but I can see how having these around could be fun to play with! Thanks for a quick and easy assignment!
Hi my friend sorry for the late response to your message. Trust me they all work fantastic, to be honest I just keep messing around with things and seeing what I get lol. It keeps my mind in shape and helps me to deal with things
Hi mate sorry for the late response thank you ever so much. I am glad you have found some inspiration from this video I hope you have been taking pictures
Enjoyable, inspiring content, cool pics, and likable host. Blue and gold tone drops my favs. Got me to thinking, might water drops on fiber optic fibers work? The fiber ends might be illuminated and carry colored light to the fiber ends and water drops. Cheers!
Wow hi my friend fantastic idea. I never thought about that. Like you say this would light the water droplets up at the same time. This could most definitely be worth a go at as a small project. Now that's what I call a creative mind. Simply fantastic
Been having issues with mice eating through the plastic water pipes in our cottage and have wrapped them in, guess what, steel wool and I have some spare - guess what I am going to be doing this week? Thanks Lee for another inspirational video, keep doing what you do, it is great. Best wishes. Terry
Thank you Terry if you keep having trouble with mice let me know I have a fantastic cat lol. I am so glad you have enjoyed this little video. Stay safe buddy
