    I like the way you are showing, how you do things. I have had eccactly the problem with the connection of the flexitracks in curvers. To solder them, when they are strait is the solution. Thanks.

    So many expensive hassles until I gave up traack power and went RC cab control Now making my own track. Trying DIY electrical trunking Comes standard 32mm for O gauge What is the point now of track electrics at all ?

      I can't remember where I bought it. But these days most solder wire has Flux in it...

    never saw the need for soldering rail joints- even on N-scale lines several miles long. as long as the track is properly stabilized on the benchwork- its just not necessary.

      Plus if the layout is anywhere where the temperature changes are extreme like in a loft or garage it's not a good idea
