My dealership had to wait until February 1, 2000 to be legally allowed to sell this new Aurora. I still have a 2003 that I bought from Copart for $1,500. All it needed was a $41 front bumper cover. It now has just over 40,000 miles.
An excellent flagship for a historic make to bow out with. The Impala, Bonneville, Aurora, and Park Avenue, and Deville of this era were great flagships.
I wonder if this was taped before or after GM made their announcement in December 2000 that they would not be developing future products for Oldsmobile?
My best friend had a 2002 Olds Aurora with the 4.0 Northstar. It was a nice car. He never had any issues with his. Traded it in 3 years for the 07 Grand Prix GXP.
I love the body style of this Aurora much better than the previous model. Looks very model. I also like the size and interior. I would love to have one if they weren't so unreliable.
I have been driving a 2001 Aurora 4.0 since 2000. I am VERY pleased with it!

All they needed was a RWD /AWD Version with the 4.0V8 and a 3.8V6 Twin Turbocharged GNX. I wish they would have added Paddleshifter
The new Alero, Ihtrigue and the original Aurora were all influences by the Antares concept car.
I loved this car....my in laws had two.
Very beautiful and nice the Oldsmobile Aurora
It has hints of a DEWOO car but i like the 4.0 V8
