In order to hear good music I find myself reaching back to songs from a different time, when people actually sang and played instruments. No one captures the aura of tragic beauty in their vocal performance better than Siouxsie. It's hard to pull it off without it sounding forced. I can tell it really means something to you because you do it justice. This is a spot on cover, genuine and from the heart.
PS: I should have added in my post that this is one of my all-time favorite songs. You have it down pat. I mean, I've been listening to Siouxsie & the Banshees practically all my life, and you play this song true to its aesthetic. And you don't make the mistake of many other people's covers where they fudge the melody. You play the song in a way that rocks with the same power as the original.
