Hey Mr. Michigan. When I was little, at my Grammy's home, in Connecticut, she had a veggie patch and a separate flower garden, and we had berries growing along the back edge of the property. Next door was an empty lot. It had been empty for a couple generations. Grammy used to do her gardening, and then throw all the cuttings over the fence, including the berry cuts, along with flower refuse. And every year, like clockwork, we'd have berries galore growing wild, raspberries and blackberries. And there were a multitude of different flowers all year long. Cuttings did very well in an empty lot covered in dirt. Can't wait to see what you are gonna plant in the field this season.
