If you notice the color of the wrench he is using compared to the ones sold, his is all black and the others are chrome. The one he is using in this video is probably the prototype and bulit with stronger springs so it locks on tighter. The ones for the consumer are probably built alot cheaper too cut cost and don't have half the grip strength compared to this one. If you pay close attention you will see where some of the paint is worn off of it so it's definitely a used one. Just as I was finishing this comment the guy said "This particular model is exclusive just for QVC." Hmmm🤔

    • @hungryhedgehog4201

Lets pretend for a second that it does exactly what it says it does and works perfectly. Even under those circumstances. No manufacturer would market and sell this. It would wipe out an entire section of their buisness. Happens alot in the industry. Why sell 1 tool that does it all for $30 when you can sell miltible tools for $7. Its a profit margin thing. Which is why some not all but some very fine quality products, does as it says it does products end up on these backend shows. Dont get me wrong 99% of the stuff is absolute junk. But every now and then there is a gem that nobody will touch because it works to well and would damage their buisness model.
The trick is finding the gems between the trash. Is this one of those products. I would say its a very good multi tool. Probably doesnt work as good as the originals bit if tou want a space saving cheap product that works for the majority of things I would say this would do the job. Like buying a knock off battery for tour favorite drill at a cheap price. It does the job but isn't ideal

There are reasons this tool never sells well. There is nothing new about this. It may be a good last resort option to have in the tool box, at the bottom, covered by all the tools it claims to replace. Plumbers have been using this tool for decades but the head pivots but it tends to be a last resort. I'd buy for $10, maybe $15 but no more than that. For $30, go to the ole brick 'n' mortar, grab an original Channel Lock or Vise Grip and call it a day. If you want to stand out, get a Knipex or Vamplier.

If you need arrows pointing in any direction on a pipe, bolt, etc. you need to give up.

Mechanic to new mechanic: You can use this area over here for all your tools.
New Mechanic: No need my friend (Pulls Magic Wrench from back pocket with dramatic light saber fashion)
Everyone in the shop: STUNNED and proceed to throw all their socket sets and wrenches into a crucible to be melted down and formed into an idol representing the Magic Wrench.

When it is longer is has more torque because you will have more elevation if it is longer

I have a pipe wrench. And it works just fine. I use it on stripped bolts all the time. Works just fine. Plus theres like no leverage on that thing. Good idea tho

This could not replace a 10mm socket/spanner. It's way too long. Most the time you're using these tools in tight space where this simply wouldn't fit
