Secondly the Ottoman Empire was unable to continue because of corruption and injustice and the last caliph sultan Abdul Hamid rip to him was removed from his position six years before World War One even began. The caliphate was no longer the same as it used to be and they lost most of the Muslim lands like North Africa to the French and Egypt to Britain. The people wanted political change and to copy the west, so the first Muslim parliament in the empire was made. A British messenger was sent to the kingdom of Hejaz to ask them to fight against the ottomans which they refused but they did agree not to help the ottomans instead and stay out of the war because the ottomans were moving away from the deen for a very long time and they were treating the Arabs unjustly. Life in the late 1800s and early 1900s was not like the old empire. The Ottoman Empire began to slip away and weaken in the late 1600s but nevertheless we all miss it and wish for it to return one day inshallah.

I remember my Grandmother had a massive picture of King Faisal in her living room he was her Idol, she left Saudi to get married in Cape Town South Africa and I'm 62 years old today, I still remember the fond stories she use to tell me about life in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia. Love from SA.

Secondly the Ottoman Empire was unable to continue because of corruption and injustice and the last caliph sultan Abdul Hamid rip to him was removed from his position six years before World War One even began. The caliphate was no longer the same as it used to be and they lost most of the Muslim lands like North Africa to the French and Egypt to Britain. The people wanted political change and to copy the west, so the first Muslim parliament in the empire was made. A British messenger was sent to the kingdom of Hejaz to ask them to fight against the ottomans which they refused but they did agree not to help the ottomans instead and stay out of the war because the ottomans were moving away from the deen for a very long time and they were treating the Arabs unjustly.
Life in the late 1800s and early 1900s was not like the old empire. The Ottoman Empire began to slip away and weaken in the late 1600s but nevertheless we all miss it and wish for it to return one day inshallah.
