Back to the TIME geometry road XS top tube is 513mm wheelbase 977mm, and gravel ADHX 45, XS top tube is 519mm gravel 45, and wheelbase 1009mm. It is simple to explain, if you want to accommodate bigger 45cc wheels, you have to extend wheelbase, (also wider chain stays) so it makes longer top tube. Simple. Also with XS size another problem is an issue with tip of your feet touching the front wheel tire, when you turn.
How heavy was your Ruby?! I had one of those with disc brakes, all mechanical Tiagra shifters brakes and derailleurs..... older Dura ace cranks from 2008. And Fulcrum Racing Quattro DB wheels and the entire bike came out to around 17 pounds.... so how heavy was yours? Im shocked because my frame was SUPER light, one of the lightest we own, and my family probably has like 70 bikes
I have a SuperSix CX that is my gravel bike and I have a SuperSix HighMod road bike. I have two sets of wheels for the CX and it really isn't noticeably slower than the road bike except for the gearing. I've always thought that it would be the perfect all around bike.
@@crike12Not really, how does the “Extra” automatically mean just repeats of stuff we’ve seen before? Doesn’t the word “Extra” usually mean something over and above what you already have?
I love Jimmy's bikes. Mostly the ADHX and Alpe d'Huez but the one with the industrial coating looks raw as well
Go girl I bought a SRAM AXS Red crankset because it looked good :)
Is it just me or I already watched this? Did you guys re-upload or am I tripping?
this is a clip from a full episode
Old but gold. Okay, copper will do.
Love the content! Brits are crushin' we 'Mericans! Keep it comin'! Love the bikes from all threes of ya, mates 🍻
How are you crushing us?
I absolutely love the term "vegan gravel"
Vielo v+1 race - I've done hard gravel and it's a beast on the road. 44 front 10-44 back.
Jimmi had me on the Vegan Gravel comment 😄😆😅😂🤣😭💀
The cheek of the man ;)
Like the Black Metal paint job on Jimmy's bike!
Jimmys Time bikes win this for me 👌
Noticed Francis have Fidlock on his bike. I have that on my MTB and have found it to be rattling, do you have the same problem?

Where is the Moots, Jimmy?
Not one mountainbike between you!?
Only electric fatbikes
No mountains in the UK
What would be the best bike to get up mountains for ~5k€?
"Hard core gravel "😂😂😂😂😂
Sorry, I'm a mountain biker and it sounded so funny - thanks for the videos.
HärDkòre grævël, baby head sized boulders Toyota's with armed gunmens passing you in a blast of sandstorm. Something like that
@LaurentiusTriarius indeed! 😂
All the best and seasons greetings 🎄Happy Christmas, regards Tony Sadler South Wales UK 🏴
The bike she is searching at 11:00 is called a "cyclocross bike " ;)
Most cyclocross bikes don’t satisfy the 40 mm requirement well since UCI limit the width to 38.
No, a cyclocross bike is actually an aggressive race bike with narrow tyre clearance (as UCI limits to 33 mil). Definitely not what Emily wants :)
13:56 brake pads installed wrong way around ....
Jimmy must be a dentist in his other life.
Clearly one you has too many road bikes and really need some MTN bikes in the mix too
Perfect allroad bike would be Cannondale SuperSix or Superior X-road

Almost as funny as Hardcore punk pop
Is Jimmy into Black Metal? That custom paint job looks somewhat evil.
Triban rcc 500 all day , all night :) I upgraded my bike for carbon wheelset,,woow amazing
Loving my Triban gravel 520 that I got because of you guys!
Hate the name love the bike 😂
@LaurentiusTriarius same as a Van Rysel but £1k instead of £2k, for the sake of a badge ;)
I can see why Jimmy is snobbish 😅
RE ADHX: It's not weird - on a gravel bike you put a shorter stem :)

Francis is back?
Nah, this is from a podcast that happened months ago
Please stop posting the same content over and over again
@@jochen4226 nah, I'm finding the quick recaps on selected topics good 👍🏻
Maybe you should tag it as a recap tho TBF
Is the "Extra" part in the channel name not a giveaway? Unsub if you dont like it?

Is it me or do others not care what other people ride? I ride the bikes I have chosen to buy.
Doing the maths, ~134 miles over 2 days doesn't seem to be that challenging. Of course there are the variables of weather and climbing....
I can't believe people who are interested in bikes and have ridden some of the best around are in possession of such hideous bikes.
There are several factors as to why one wouldn't choose to own the best* bikes.
*Varies VERY GREATLY from rider to rider.
