- To dive deep into the food industry, Tanay Agarwal, a student at Mesa, went to Rotiwala.com to dissect their #business model and understand the #economics of a cloud kitchen model.
He spoke to Saleem Javed, co-founder of Rotiwala.com, which is a cloud kitchen and a partial dine-in restaurant near BTM 2nd Stage in Bangalore. They spoke about his initial days, why the focus was on rotis, and broke down the unit economics of one average order.

Its clear that He is working hard to make Zomato/swiggy rich...
NO ....U get also Mass Extra Market through Swiggy and Zomato ....Margin is less but They have no time ....Like What U think.
Great insights into how finding a niche can make a cloud kitchen stand out! Keeping staffing costs lean while leveraging smart marketing channels like SMS and WhatsApp can truly maximize growth potential. 🍽

Delicious roti making process
7-8 % Net Profit and Providing 30 % Commission to Swiggy and Zomato --- Better to invest in Index Funds and avoid all the hassles and Relax at home
Same thinking.
Net profit isnt calculated on capital but on revenue. So the ROCE would be much higher - 40%+
@@paramshah7383sahi kaha bhai aapne , they don't understand about ROI , that they make 10-15x more from this business rather investing on index fund 😂😂😂
Do not compare 7-8% directly with 12+% the market gives. The ROCE will be much higher. The rotation cycle of capital will be maximum 2 months. Which means the ROCE will be 50-60% which you can never earn in markets without hassle
You can’t trust on someone else if you have potential to build a good business
Excellent video brothers to the point.
All the best for your cloud kitchen.
interesting stuff!
DO one video on businesses that do not need any type of licenses also
So cool
I have ordered multiple times from here. Used to be good but later on taste went downhill.
Good style but I saw 2 videos. One thing may you do not ask purposely is how they train staff and maintain consistency.
Went to their website and the roti was not even on the homepage :D

What is jain chicken?!!😂@@jainchicken
Zomato 30% huge share of your business
For 7-10% gain, is it not safe to invest in a mutual fund?
Mutual funds are also giving more than 5% per month ..not year
They would not be making any net profit after paying themselves and interest on investment.
Maybe they are in loss
Swiggy and zomato making 5x of his net profit through commission and ads 😂
wow tony is really getting old
So Indian engineers could not make a roti machine?
many available in the market
@@ganeshnh Copies of tortila machine .. invented long time ago
Everything is good except for the use of newspapers in making of food...
Dont know how long before these idiots would realise the dangers of newspapers in food processing
हिंदी में वीडियो बना फिर देखेंगे ?😂😂😂😂😂

That much hassle and dependant on cooks ane staff and then commission for swiggy zomato plus rental and itna business karke u earn 50k a month then it's useless.. Not managed well..
The kitchen looks so dirty... The least they can do is have a place which looks clean and hygienic.
