The Ohmu turned out real nice! Be careful before it hatches into another CAT though. I hadn't see Nausicaa until you recommended it and I was really missing out. It's a good one.

Congratulations on knocking it out of the park! I have an old-ish hardcover book of Nausicaa. That Ghibli style is fantastic, and you translated that into a FANTASTIC 3D representation.
I think the dropper technique (and montage) was my favorite bit! :)
Brookes is 100% right about when videos get more views than you have subscribers. (Did I even say that right?)
When I start seeing comments indicating TH-cam is putting my video in more folks' "Recommended" section, I just knowwwww some negative remarks are coming with that.
"THERE'S 15 MINUTES I CAN NEVER GET BACK!"... "IT'S 'LEGO', NOT 'LEGOS'!"... "WHY WOULD I WANT TO MAKE A RUBBER BOLT?"... "DO YOU HAVE ECZEMA?", etc.
Thanks again mate, I have to be honest. I made up most of those comments for 'the bit'.... I generally get good ones 😄. Also this video i needed a little crafsman to say cabochons to the camera.

I believe the "cat" is ancient. The spirit of an old god trapped in a temporary body, trying to decieve Bill with it's gentle looks. But that is just a theory.

Your builds are always gorgeous and have such a distinctive and unique style. Your editing and Crafsman-esque interludes and vignettes show that so much care goes into the whole making process and not just the build itself. great video Bill. For your build where you add cables, like on robots and scifi terrain, have you ever used steel guitar strings? The texture of them is great for cables. They a bit hard to bend to the shape you want tho.

BTW, after watching your channel I went on entire nostalgia quest to find more Garbage Paul Kids. My entire childhood.. we came from Russia to Israel and it was right after the craze, so everyone had garbage stickers all over their fridges and cards laying around in their homes. I was so intrigued by them but no one sold them anymore..
Also.. English is my third language, but I rarely find words I didn’t know before, when you used “Greeble”(?) I had to check what it means, I ended up googling “gribbly” instead. I need to have that memory of the urban dictionary surgically removed from my memory now. 😖😫
Sorry if thies is a repeat, I did a quick look. In the US, they call it 3D or "Puffy" paint. Usually you can find it in dollar tree or art supply store near where they have items for making custom t-shirts.

Boy, this takes me back to when I first read the manga. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is my favorite Miyazaki creation, and one of my top ten manga ever. Kinda sad you didn't keep the eyes clear, and add some LEDs to make them glow blue or red depending on the ohmu's mood. Still, an excellent creation.
You should use as a thumnail this time the Gunship jet plane at 1:72.. (a ship close in size to the ork fighta) Just for making on the next video one of that gigantic airships/bombers of the tormekian empire with scrap..

Nausicaa is my favorite ghibli film too! I so rarely meet people who know what it is. If you didn't already know, there are books too (graphic novels) and they're really good, I highly recommend them! :)
