    Hi Bill. The backstory you did was absolutely beautiful. It's a shame it wasn't longer, but I understand in the grand scheme of things it was only a small part of this video. You put so much into your productions it really is breathtaking.
    I really do think that this is definitely your best work so far. I love the use of the cable conduits for musculature. The subtlety of the lighting really works too.
    If you ever need a break from sculpting, PLEASE consider doing more world building and story crafting. I could watch that for hours. Your art style is perfect. It makes me think of 1970s hand animated fantasy work like The Fantastic Planet, The Point and stuff like Heavy Metal.
    So, to answer your question, yes please, more like this. It's well worth the wait, providing you want to do it. It's a lot of work!

    After watching this and Studson's moving castle I now have my own plans to build a behemoth robot...granted it's going to be more squat and fatter than yours as I'm basing it off of the Destroid Monster from Macross and scaled (1/35 specifically) to go with my Brigador themed Maschinen Kreiger model kits.

    He's so soft-spoken and quiet that I have to turn my volume all the way up; when YT goes to an ad at full volume, I about have a stroke. I haven't felt this alive since watching network television in the 1990s. Bill is the Bob Ross of makin' stuff.

    I couldn’t love this any more bill. The production value of the video is exceptional, the sculpt is simply stunning and your presentation is wonderfully humorous. This goes to show what can happen when an innate talent gets the chance to flourish.
    I also must point out that at the time of typing this you have 555 likes and no dislikes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that ratio before.

    I definitely relate to making a build so big I can’t store it anywhere! As a huge fan of ghibli movies, I’m currently working on my second howls castle (the first broke), and it’s about three long and two and a half tall. No shelf in my house will hold it😅😂 for all the planning I did on the build, I overlooked that very important detail

    “Life is a Greebley” - Greg Greebley really was ahead of its time.
    106 Mantras of the Greeble really changed my outlook on crafting.
    Mantra 63: see the world as a crafter. A priceless treasure can be found in trash, and actual treasures can be turned into a crab. Nothing is more believable as gemstones than actual gemstones!
    Really stuck with me, that one.

    • @jopo3616

    I really like the idea of having world building to the point where someday this could actually be a robot based tabletop game. after all if you don't play a game with them there's no point in doing all that stupid measuring to make them to scale.

  • @theresalwayssomethingtobui944
    @theresalwayssomethingtobui944 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great structure! Such a lovely titan!
    I studied a fair bit of structural engineering for my environmental engineering degree. What you did with the wires is basically what makes concrete strong against shaking and bending and falling apart. For large structures like a house or a bridge the to scale equivalent is steel in cabkes, or a steel mat from cables. And concrete instead of the glue. Pretty neat!

    Bloody amazing, idk if it's intentional but I love how some of the details look like muscles. I'd like to imagine that those tubes poking out of it are for venting heat but when it wants to attack, it can store the heat then pressurize it and shoot it out as lazers through the tubes.
