I met him in our local pool hall when he was playing in a nearby tournament which had ended for the night, he and a friend ( also a pro) brought him back to our hang out about 10:00 pm that night. He came in and there was only about half dozen of us there at the time. He hung out with us for a couple hours taking the time to just play play with whoever wanted to shoot with him. What a terrific person. Fun to be around. Such a gentleman. A treat and a real pleasure to have met him.
I met Francisco in Tay Tay in April 2023. He was there with Efren in support of w Palawan 9 ball competition. He's a very friendly and funny chap. And he still plays pool at the highest level. Strickland recently said that Francisco is in the top 10 players of all time. He recently beat Strickland during his recent visit to the Philippines.
