"We Belong Together" was so massive that Mariah Carey even blocked her own self! Her song, "Shake It Off", was stuck at number two! What was it like? So good… 😢 I was in the class of 2004…back when we still blasted the radio everytime we rode in the car. And we knew practically every song. Some of the most nostalgic songs for that era, for me, is "Oh" by Ciara & Luda, and "1-2 Step" & "Goodies" of course. Britney & Madonna. Jojo "Get Out" & "Too Little Too Late"… any of Beyoncé’s debut singles, Usher, 50 Cent, all of Mariah's _Emancipation_ album, OutKast, Gwen Stefani's debut album… there was a lot. I’m surprised "What You Waiting For" wasn’t as successful here; the stations here in SoCal played it all the time, same with her song "Luxurious" with Slim Thug.
