Also very off topic but why are racists still talking about skull sizes? I’m a neuroscience major and we have a whole chapter on intraspecies intelligence. The idea that the size of the brain is a measure of intelligence (within a species) is literally archaic and has been totally debunked by modern neuroscience. (For anyone curious intelligence is incredibly complex to measure. Not only the biology (namely the role of different aspects of the cortex, the most significant being the neocortex) which we don’t fully understand, but developmental factors that influence things like synaptic formation and pruning, and economic and cultural factors that very much influence development in the adolescent brain. So basically, bigger brain does not equal better brain). I really can’t exaggerate how old and redundant that theory is. It’s the equivalent of banging sticks to make a fire when there’s a prism and a laser next to you. It’s actually kinda funny how blatantly obvious their ignorance is. If you’re going to be a racist in this day and age you really need to find something new to be wrong about. Don’t be talking about skull measurements when google exists, it’s the biggest self own ever 💀

I hope BlueSky doesn't become toxic. And I truly hope, somehow, foreign trolls masquerading as Western users don't start disrupting genuine conversation. I am there. Nail on the head, the first video actually being more factual about people moving. Why is that something I want to use? 😂 Bluesky is for talking to people like you would in the real world about subjects that interest you. Twitter is the shouty outraged morons lapping up all the engagement bait Elon throws at them to further enrage them. They wouldn't dare talk like they do on there to your face. The fact the trolls are going on BlueSky to try and bait people shows they know Twitter is a dying platform, that's the only reason they used it because trolling is their life ... sad!

Remember when Elon claimed buy Twitter was about "free speech", and about "defeating the bots and the trolls"? Does _anyone_ still believe that narrative, even the people who like and support him?
They do because to them, "free speech" means being able to spit hate with no consequences, and "trolls" are exclusively liberals.
Twitter has about 175 million bot accounts.
I ran the SparkToro's Fake Account Tool on Leon Musk's twitter account a few months before I left & it showed it as having 70.2% fake, or unused accounts following it. The bots were horrible before I shut down. I was getting 10-12 elon musk fake followers a day alone. Then all the Keanu Reeves, Jason Statham, General this or that, Saudi Prince so & so, etc etc. Anyone who didn't vet accounts could run up huge numbers of followers that way.
It is just so refreshing not to see faces of Benny Johnson, Alex Jones, etc. all the time.

Are they though?
Racists usually aren't smart

All we ever really want is a chronological timeline where we don't have to see bigots. That's all. Seems like that should be simple. So far, Bluesky has what I want from a social media platform.
I hope BlueSky doesn't become toxic. And I truly hope, somehow, foreign trolls masquerading as Western users don't start disrupting genuine conversation.
I am there. But am scared of getting addicted. What I hate about TH-cam though, apart from foreign troll infestations, is writing a well thought out paragraph, polite, diplomatic and all, and it getting deleted. That infuriates me very much and so many others. Then, no matter what you do, it just keeps deleting your comments. Sometimes can't even reply properly to a valid question. Insane.
