Im just five minutes in but i had to stop the video and congratulate you on such a great opening intro encompassing everything Beyonce' has meant to music and culture this last decade so beautifully and eloquent. Your narration skills is also top tier. Im a huge Beyhive fan... just absolutely floored by everything Bey's artistic genuis has brought a whole entire generation. We are for sure witnessing her Renaissance and seeing HERstory in the making! 👑🐝🙌🏽

Beyoncé performing alongside The Chicks at the CMAS was such a flex!!!

That's the reason they got mad--she's not supposed to be able to flex in country space because white country gatekeepers like their women being fierce because the man told them to.

cowboy carter is her best body of work, if you get it you get it! If you know beyonce you know she ALWAYS outdoes herself. if you really listen to what she says and does, it's all about self growth, intention, determination, versatility, vulnerability, ETC. so in my opinion she has always outdone herself, and she's truly in her own lane. like she only has herself to compete with and she knows that's the best way to live and just be the greatest. she's so classy, so smart, and so powerful i am just in awe of her and i aspire to be like her every day

Bravo bravo I tipped my head to you because Beyonce is a once in a generation talented artist we probably won’t see ever again she continues to set her own bar breaking records setting trends.
I said it once I’ll say it again heart radio seen her genius and how she continues to break boundaries as a black artist and black female artist because is breaking doors down for upcoming artists to be fearless and take risks and make music they want to make regardless of what society says.
Beyoncé continues to shock the world with these releases and continues to shed light and educate while still having us enjoy the music there will be no other artist like her.
Because is more than a innovator she’s a boundary breaker a trend setter a fearless artist who isn’t afraid to take risk with her sound and art with her art and music everything is carefully crafted by her and is intentional and to unite and bring everyone to together.
This decade and era of Beyoncé career is been interesting and exciting and educational to experience this music she’s created during this trilogy is going to be studied (Lemonade) as well but this music is going to be the blueprint for artists to study and dissect and let them know that don’t allow anyone to box you out and tell you what to sing and what type of art and music to create and be proud of the art that you make and giving people they’re flowers as well who dealt with so much blacklash and pushback from for creating music in spaces that our people started.
Lastly im immensely proud and grateful and thankful to live in Beyoncé era of her life and career as a artist to witness her success and greatness growth, innovation, groundbreaking genre defined genre pushing music so happy I get to see in in real time because can do what she want.
Can’t wait to see what act iii gonna be but until then I’m gonna enjoy act ii I’ve falling in love with it Beyoncé doesn’t do genres she is the genre she’s seeing huge commercial success with this album already 3 song already in the billboard hot 100 and the Miley duet has been sent to radio so so far so good.
Good job on the video Wayne as usual I’m like you I’m a long time fan I became a fan in middle the towards the end of the dangerously in love era and be follow her ever since but love the work and Tim and effort you put in I’ll will continue to stay subscribe and watch keep up the good work 😁😉

I have been a fan since No No No and I smile when I still hear those DC vocal harmonies and style on some of the interludes.
This is by no means a country album, she said it herself.
The country element is just a thematic prop and gimmick.
She is doing what she’s always been doing. Basically picking a thematic arch and then fitting into that arch her musical instincts and packaging it in the smartest possible way.
The songwriters and producers are mostly pop and RnB again even on the songs featuring Dolly and Miley and I doubt that hardcore country fans will be fully drawn to the album although I hope I’m wrong.
She is more cementing her existing fan base and taking them on a journey in a unique way as she has been doing since her Eponymous album. Only this time she’s in amazing shape vocally and the songs are super inspired. There’s also something more sincere and organic here probably because she IS from Texas and the more urban stances she’s taken throughout her career were more fulfilling public expectations of what she should be as a black pop star than actually being her true self. She sounds like she’s having more genuine fun here than on her last two albums The Gift and Renaissance which were brilliant nonetheless since she builds and researches these albums like museum exhibitions and uses her remarkable powers to surround herself with carefully selected teams of people following super structured methods to fulfill her visions.
The real point she’s making is that good music is good music and that genres and categories are BS. Claiming genres doesn’t seem as important outside of America where the burden of centuries of slavery makes for so much darkness to be revealed and addressed. Only through that culture is everything so necessarily categorized to the point where the whole political and scholarly discourse outside of the actual entertaining quality of the songs is really only fully resonant for Americans. At the end of the day this album is great because of the vision and arch it presents within one of pop’s greatest artist’s career but mostly because some of the songs noticeably Bodyguard and Ya Ya are just infectious and the work of someone who transforms like the greatest of actresses in songs. By the way Sweet Honey Buckin isn’t pure Bey it is pure Pharrell (and it’s my least favorite track since it’s so desperate to stand out and imo doesn’t. These looped syllables are headache inducing and make it seem like he’s trying to channel Laurie Anderson which isn’t really fitting here). I think the growls on Ya Ya should be featured on an entire album and are very much her own rather than Tina Turner’s as well as those bending twangy vocals that fit her voice so infectiously on Bodyguard and Alligator Tears. Beautiful video analysis anyways for a truly epic album.

Calling it a “pop album with country influence” is just insulting and you diminishing the very prevalent country, folk, and Americana instrumentals that this album very much is

My Favorite Songs On CowBoy Carter:
1.) II Most Wanted w/ Miley Cyrus
    2.) Levi's Jean's
    3.) Daughter
    4.) Tyrant w/ Dolly Parton
    5.) Jolene
    6.) RiverDance
I know that CowBoy Carter is NOT a country album so overall I thought the album was mid. There are some good tracks on the album BUT overall I would not consider it her best work. I would say its way too long & I like Renaissance album more. I will say it's very experimental & country inspired. Beyonce did with this album what she always does since Lemonade & that's take a lot of different genres of music & put it all into 1 album.
    My Rating: 6.5/10

I hate how gatekept country music is. I can’t help but feel like the executives will try to sabotage her album so that it “comes and goes”. I pray Beyonce is able to kick down the door in country music & allow a chance for a more diversity within that space and that that they are able to find success.
