Idk why your telling ppl that these aren't aggressive. These guys are highly aggressive with each other. These tanks need to be medium planted tank. You are giving out basics for info. Everything you have said is all on the book I read.
The Sparkling Gourami is semi-aggressive towards other members of it species like most gouramis are. However, I never once observed Sparkling Gouramis being aggressive towards other species of fish.
Well then you got a great gourami. I have seen them be aggressive towards other fish and I have seen them kill each other. This info again is basic, and was mostly likely what popped up on Google.
Tend to become territorial when they breed, and kill small shrimp, and scare larger ones. Check out foo the flowerhorn's 9 month update for that. Separate the males and females and it stops. Love them, but you have to watch them!
I had a little male who dominated my community tank. He would bully all the others including diamond Tetras! Totally fearless!
I got 6 yesterday 🤩 they’re stunning 🥰
Will they be ok with celestial Pearl danios, platys, neon tetras, head n tail light tetras, Cory cats, and harlequin Rasboras
Brooke Crafts your tank sounds a lot like mine haha
