Thank you so much for making these videos, I’m really glad teachers and professors with teaching gift like yours share on this TH-cam, helping thousands of students!
Would you please explain why you used 3pi/4 instead of 3pi/8? Is it because 4 is the half of 8? What about sin(pi/12), should we use sin(pi/6) knowing that 6 is the half of 12? Thank you!
Hello I was wondering when to know whether to use half angle identities or pythagorean identities when evaluating an integral. When using the substitution method i sometimes use the half angle when im supposed to use pythagorean, so how do I know when to use which, or what is a telling factor? Thank you!!
How do you know which tangent half angle formula to choose as the problems come up? Like I have three formulas and got an answer wrong using the not radical formula.
+john white you may want to review the unit circle that is where those values are coming from. You can check out the video I did on the unit circle here th-cam.com/video/iHa8f7k4Tg8/w-d-xo.html

You're very welcome!
At last an instructor who knows what he is talking about.
Glad you like my videos!
Thanks for showing the details in the arithmetic!
Your welcome!

You explain very clearly thank you!
+Adriano velazquez your welcome. I'm glad my video helped you.
You may have saved my trigonometry grade

thank you for video. Appreicate
You are welcome
you are the best
How did you end up 225 kindly
for the last question, how did you get 3pi/8 to be 3pi/4
Yes, me too I have the same question, maybe 4 is the half of 8?
@@yasmineyasmine8059 must've been a typo. There is no 3pi/8 on the unit circle

same here
How did you get 225??
can you make a video on power reducing formulas?
Thanks for the suggestion...yes...I haven’t done a video on that topic yet.
so the root 2 over 2 how did you get that im lost
