You can't go wrong with any old Isuzu Elf trucks particularly the earlier N-series generations from 85' to 93'. Most of them are still running in 3rd world countries as cargo trucks and they even still stand extreme weather & road condition.
NHS55 means it is a 1.5 tonne trucks mounted on 2.8L 4JB1 diesel engine and it was naturally aspirated. And this isn't 4x4 tho, this is still 4x2. 4x4s must be already high mounted on it for special purpose trucks, not for this standard small cargo truck. 4JB1 is kinda small which is being used on compact Isuzu SUVs that time such as Rodeo & Trooper.
It's either 2.8 or 3.6 diesel engine. Either turbocharged or non-turbo. Supposedly, they can go up to highway speed, assuming light to no load. They're about happy at 40-50mph, assuming nothing is wrong... But above that, and it'll sound like it's dying

I have the 4x4 Elf NHS camper and love it been thinking about getting just the truck version too

With the price of plywood today, it may be just as cost effective to use metal.
