A merch shirt with one of those "Hi my name is" tags printed on it and have "Tiffany" scribbled out would be ICONIC
I MUST have one!
I would buy that
Not even lying, I would buy 10.
Oh that’s a great merch idea!!!
I would buy that and also a shirt with her cat on it that says “ What are you reading Kitty?”
I appreciate you saying something about 🍉 and using your platform to bring attention to ways of helping!
why the watermelon?
@@Silverraine1 The Israeli government banned the Palestinian flag for several decades back in the late 60s- early 90s, so in its place the watermelon (with similar colors to the flag, and being locally grown in Palestine) became a symbol for Palestinian solidarity and resilience. Now it's seeing a resurgence, since posting the actual flag's emoji online and any other associated words of the massacre often results in being shadowbanned by social media platforms. It's a way to talk about the subject and show support that is more difficult for platforms to censor.
@@rowan.27 Thank you for explaining!
I love that you talked about the atrocities in Gaza. I've only seen a couple of booktubers talk about this and I'm so glad you used your voice and platform to discuss this. X
I’m so glad you said something about Palestine. It’s so disheartening to see a community I love stay quiet about it.
I just want to say, I appreciate your editing so much. I can tell you put so much work into it and have a great eye for it. ❤
yes thank you for spreading more awareness on Palestine love you even more !!!!
There's a sequel to the Watchers coming out in October called Stay in the light. 🤓❤️📚
I came to watch a funny video while I shower (don't ask) and I know you always deliver them and I was so pleasantly surprised about you talking about Palestine. Thank you for not staying silent about this.
Yessss I would love for you to do a comparison video for the watchers book vs movie 😁
We appreciate you speaking up. Free Palestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
Jordaline, I so appreciate you using your platform to bring awareness to the horrible things the Palestinians are going through
Love you so much Jordaline, thank you for speaking out 🍉🍉🍉
PLEASE do the re-reading blog and going to see the movie. I read it because you recommended it and I am dying to hear what you think. 😊
Thank you for speaking about the genocide 🇵🇸 free Palestine
I'd love a vlog for The Watchers. I read it and wasn't that into it ... I'm interested what you would think on the second time through.
thank you for talking about 🍉 my respect for you has reached a next level 📈
Maggie's Grave is going to be my first David Sodergren and I'm SO excited
p.s. you look so cute gorgeous STUNNING omg
I’m catching up on your videos, and thank you for speaking up about 🍉.
Edit: I would love to see your thoughts on the Watchers movie and a comparison!
Your hair looks gorgeous 😃I have The Watchers so I better get on and read it if a film is coming out! X
Love your hair like this!
Omg thank you bb 🥰💅✨️
I just heard about a new book-Pigeon House by Shilo Niziolek. Its described as "cottagecore meets bog witch." That sentence alone, I'm sold! Its not horror but it does sound like witchy women being badass.
So many book people I watch have yet to speak up about the genocide happening now in Gaza. I just want to say thank you Jordaline.
The covers make me think of Goosebumps, particularly the "Say Cheese and Die" ones.
Indian Lake books just a trilogy so it ends with the most recent one. The second one is a bit different with more character POVs than book one and book three. I really enjoyed the whole trilogy, but I know some folks got thrown a bit by the second book. I think the third one is a super solid final book.
Girl I just heard of this book it’s supposed to be GAY HORROR WITH VAMPIRES! It does have some kind of zombie like apocalypse thing which I know you said you don’t like but it looks pretty good, and the cover 😘🤌 anyway it’s ‘Rise Of One’ by Dixon Reuel’ It’s also supposed to have other supernatural beings in it as well along with the vamps so if the zombies don’t throw you off let us know!😘
Adding that to my tbr now!
I love Stephen Graham joined AB’s his style of writing. I seen someone describe my heart is a chainsaw as a slow burn and I definitely agree. The first half build up to the second half and it takes off. I really liked it. It’s just a trilogy and the third book released not too long ago
I've only read the haar and maggies grave so far, but that was enough to be in love with Sodergren. How have you not read Chainsaw yet? The last third of that book was one of the greatest reading experiences of my life. Kill River's cover is gorgeous - you take that back!
Themed vlogs are so good, looking forward to it
I cannot WAIT to see The Watchers!!!! I loved the book too. ❤
I know you probably wouldn't as a booktuber but your makeup is amazing - would u ever do tutorial?
Okay, but I love the Kill River covers. They look like those B-horror flicks from the 80s.
I don’t even read horror but love your videos! You crack me up! Ps- I LoVE when you review fantasy-hint hint lol 😊
love the hair and makeup :D thx for vid
Dooood! Could you do a video where you talk about the best supernatural books and seperate it by type, like vampire, ghost, werewolf, witch, etc..... just a thought. Just a thought.
Just read the watchers! Excited for the sequel!!
Hope you enjoy your reads. Jan is one of many spooky bookish queens I love watching. 📚🥤💀👻🦇
I’ve read Night Shoot and Rotten Tommy. Loved them both.
Omg I hope you and Jan love Maggie's Grave!! I can't wait to hear about them in vlogs!
I completely recommend reading the Indian Lake trilogy in tandem with the audio books. I love the books so much its my favorite trilogy. I hope you eat them up
Hey, stepping out of the fun zone for sec to say that I appreciate you speaking about Gaza and sharing resources!
The Indian Lake trilogy my favorite horror series, but I totally get why some people don't vibe with his writing. Also, I'd love to hear a comparison of the book and the movie "The Watcher" so I know if its worth watching!
I love your hair clips!!
The Indian Lake Trilogy is definitely just a trilogy.
I think the second one is my favourite - Jade is a great character but I really struggle with her character voice because she’s just so all over the place and jumps from thread to thread in her brain which can kind of leave me behind as a reader - because I’m also jumping from thread to thread in my own stupid head.
yayayayayy a new jordaline video!
I listened to Someone Like Me on audio years ago, and I LOVED it ❤
I really like the hair. So excited for lot of these myself, especially Someone You Can Build a Nest in
I'm so excited for you to read Maggie's Grave!!
Another fabulous video! I read Maggies Grave earlier this year and really enjoyed it! I look forward to your thoughts. I have a complicated relationship with SGJ too. Thanks for sharing
Seriously thank you for using your platform to speak about Gaza.
Read”My ❤ is a chainsaw” and liked it a lot. I’ve found even you love it or hate it. If the voice does not work for you the book as a whole will not work. Loved night watching.
I would truly love for that Watchers video idea to happen 🙌 Also-do you have any recommendations about where to start with Sodergren’s books? 👀
I read My Heart is a Chainsaw, and I loved it. I have heard incredible things about the audiobooks of the second and third books, so I am waiting to get those from the library. The cast is incredible. It will be a trilogy.
Reading book 3 in Stephen Graham Jones’ trilogy and I’m really enjoying it. The characters, Proofrock, the stories, the horror…. I just want more. I so far find this more scary than book 2. But it is a scene in book 1 that is still my favourite.
The bit about Jan was adorable 😍😄
Maggie’s Grave was my first Soddergren read, just finished The Forgotten Island and am now onto Rotten Tommy. ✌️ 😊
The Kill River trilogy is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sign us all up for the Watchers vlog
Indian Lake is SO good. Yes it is only a trilogy, yes it is adult. Jade is 22 in Book 2 and 25 in book 3. I felt the same way as you about Only Good Indian but I'm OBESSSED with Indian Lake.
Hi Jordaline 😁 I loved Nightwatching! The Sanitorium was a bit disappointing for me.
Omg STOP I'm literally on the second kill river book!!! The first one is so fun and the little playlist the author includes is so fun!!!
Jordaline you look great! The clips are cute! Also please tell us about your favourite books each month so we can read them too! 💝
We appreciate you mentioning Palestine and bringing awareness to how severe the situation is. Much respect.
Also I love your videos always makes me laugh. Just a heads up I’ve recently went to the cinema to see the watchers it was really good the twist was so unexpected I loved it.
your hair looks gorgeous like this!
Your hair is beautiful 🫶
I have a love hate relationship with SGJ but I really wanted to read the Jade series. His writing style is deep in dialog with little description, making it hard to follow. I did the audiobook with Don’t Fear the Reaper and it was waaaaaay easier to understand who was saying what.
I have a similar relationship with Stephen Graham Jones and I thought My Heart Is A Chainsaw was a flop 😔
I m too lazy to cook!!!😂😂
I just finished my heart is a chainsaw earlier today and I loved it. It definitely soothed my craving for a summer slasher! ❤
A mindf@$k thriller that I’ve never heard spoken of is Mind of Winter by Laura Kasischke. I’ve read it three times it’s so banana pants good and I think you’d enjoy it! Love your channel and your cats btw!
I love you. If you had a cult, I would join. I wouldn't drink any suspicious koolaid, but I would join and participate in other cult activities.
Stunning as always Queen
I read the Sanitorium and i really enjoyed it.
Also your videos always cheer me up.... big sad about stupid dumb boys.... but i just gotta hang with the girls to feel better
Comparison video? Hell yes let's go! Enjoy yourself!
#NoneOfUsAreFreeUntilAllOfUsAreFree
I HATED the Sanitorium
I did too.
thank you
I think it would be hilarious if every time you review a book, you call the main character Tiffany😅😅😂
Kill River covers were illustrated by Author. I think they are awesome covers. Books are a little young for my taste but overall not bad.
"ill give you a Mars bar!" 😂🍫
Giiiirl, you need to read Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra.. I have thoughts and I need your review.
Vlog The Watchers movie comparison!!
I thought Tiffany was an author of one of the books you were recapping 😅
Im the same way with Stephen Graham Jones. Books start off so good and then they go completely off the rails and not necessarily in a good way. In a confusing way. I plan on picking up the new Stephen king short story collection this week. We will see what else. Barnes and noble has gotten stingy with their horror section.
I have Maggie's Grave!!!!Yay!
Bad news: I hated The Sanatorium. It was just...boring???
Thank you for speaking on the g3n0cid3. 🖤🖤🖤
I liked the beginning of The Sanatorium which was almost horrorish but the rest of the book was more like a crime novel and reminded me of many other crime novels I've read. It turned very weak.
I liked it. For me it was never horror and always a whodunit. The sequel is exactly the same base storyline. I personally really enjoy Elin as a character, I see myself quite a bit in her. I do agree it's a very long book and I don't think jordaline will care for it and I'm afraid she's gonna tip it apart hahaha I really liked it. I love long dragging mystery novels. Especially isolated whodunit. So if you have a recommendation I'm all ears 😅
❤❤❤
The Sanatorium was not good, in my opinion. pretty boring considering what the premise was.
❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
❤❤❤🍉🍉🍉
The Sanitorium is one of the worst books I've ever read!!! I just want you to read it to hear you dump on it!
