Omg Jordaline!!!! Where have you been??? 😮like I almost sent out search parties for you!? Life is grey and meaningless without our Queen. The sky was crying, the birds stopped singing, coffee was cold and tasteless and no one smiled anymore 😢thank goodness it's over 😓
It's 2/12. I just wanted to stop on and say that we all hope you're doing ok. Take whatever time you need for personal health. Love yourself. Be kind to yourself like you would a friend. We'll be here when you're ready. xoxo
I see Night Film in the thumbnail.. omg that book is so good!! Do not be intimidated by the page count y'all - it has mixed media and is a fast-paced read. One of my all-time favorites!
As an Appalachian, you said it right the first time. But people outside of Appalachia will say it the second way you said it…with a “lay” instead of “ latch”. Of course I guess it can vary according to what part you’re from. 🤷♀️Love you Jordaline ❤
hello fellow canadian winter hater! my birthday is next month... the worst, most chilliest month in canada... so you know i was literally born hating this season. and to add insult to injury - i was born on a monday! at 6am! do you think i've ever woken up at 6am in my entire life? absolutely not! there is a god, and she is laughing at me. anyway, time to add even more books to my already herculean TBR list. thanks girl!
Check out "Maynard's House", 1980. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator kills it with the New England accents. It's trippy and gives all the winter vibes.
I have to "simp" for Let the Right One In! It is terrifying. There is a whole section missing from both films that is scarier (and pervier) than all the rest shoved together.
Dear jordaline glad you pull through, glad to have you back, winter ❄️ is always a depressing season for most people, great video as always love ❤️ and best wishes for next year Little darling
For Boys in the Valley I felt the ending was our main 'priest to be' boy coming to grips with his battle, and the decision he made, was for his "brothers" and their survival. I don't know that the author was trying to persuade one way or the other, at least to me, with some other passages in the story. I myself do not care for religion and the chaos it brings, but find possession super fun to read. As for Let Me In, I was so stoked to read it, but have a weak stomach for the type of child abuse and sexualism described in several of the chapters. I absolutely love your vibe and your recommendations. Always look forward to your vids
Let me in is fantastic. Compulsively readable. Endearing main characters. Triggers for child abuse though. I never read books after I've seen the movie (the original one) but they were both extremely and surprisingly enjoyable. A fantastic spin on vampire lore.
You’re my favorite TH-camr for SO many reasons dude. The Small Spaces love just piles on. I LOVE that series. Just finished the ending and I’m depressed it’s over.
Glad you're back! More vloooogs. I'm actually reading Let me in right now and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It has also cold and snow, Perfect for January.
I was watching the first video u posted on yt when u posted this🩷🩷🩷 cant have enough of your channel !!!! Please consider🖤✨️✨️✨️🖤🖤 AND JORDALINE, PLS DO A READING VLOG FOR THE MIDDLE GRADE SERIES PLSS🖤🖤✨️✨️
Love your videos 🎉 You're hilarious! I would definitely recommend Let me in or Let the right one in. It's a slow burn thriller/drama with multiple POV. It's gruesome book with creepy kids. I enjoyed reading it & movie is good too 👍
Merci pour cette vidéo! J'ai lu certains de ces livres comme celui de Katherine Ardin que j'ai beaucoup apprécié! J'apprécie aussi beaucoup Joe Hill, ses romans sont glaçants!
I loved Boys In The Valley!! It waa SO good. I feel like i read that book so fast. I received a ARC of that book and did a full ARC review on my channel. Are all of Phillip Fracassi's books that good? If you have read any other books by Phillip, let me know if you recommend them.
-40?! 😬I can’t cope when it’s -5 here and it rarely gets colder than that🤣fed up with the dark mornings and evenings now and just want spring! I preferred Misery the film to the book,I enjoy your synopsis so much 😂x
An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena. Honestly it’s Shari’s best book. Give it a go! Also, The Shining by Stephen King (I prefer it more than the film. It’s different)

My 9 year old son is reading Small Spaces right now and really loving it. He was so excited when I showed him you read the first two.

My toxic trait is watching your videos, making lists of books I want to read, and then never reading them. Why am i like this? 😂

Minnesotan here...I've heard you're supposed to say "apple"-"atcha". Is that correct?
📢YOUR EYESHADOW!! YOU KILLED THIS LOOK JORDALINE 📢
Yes! Rocking that purple eyeshadow like a true lady of intrigue and mystery over there. Stunnin, I agree!
You have genuinely become my favorite book reviewer on the tube ❤️📖
I’m also not really loving winter this year, but I still love reading books with winter vibes haha 😂 and also yesss Near the Bone!!! Love that book 👏
How you don’t have millions of views on these is beyond me. Share this queen❤️
as a girlie who lives in the southern hemisphere all this does is help me prep for the winter months in 2024 mid-year

i know exactly what you're talking about and i think about that scene when i'm alone in the dark sometimes, i am traumatizzzzzzed !!! 😭
I loved the Dowry of Blood. I love you for recommending it. x
Right this has given me the push to read Night Film finally
Dear jordaline glad you pull through, glad to have you back, winter ❄️ is always a depressing season for most people, great video as always love ❤️ and best wishes for next year Little darling
I watched a horror tv show recently called “Marianne” and it kinda reminds me of the premise of Misery.

I’ve been reading Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell. Definitely wintery and pretty spooky.
Let me in is fantastic. Compulsively readable. Endearing main characters. Triggers for child abuse though. I never read books after I've seen the movie (the original one) but they were both extremely and surprisingly enjoyable. A fantastic spin on vampire lore.

Let Me In/Let the Right One In is one of my favorites def read it ❤
Great list. Thanks for adding a few lesser known titles.
Glad you're back! More vloooogs. I'm actually reading Let me in right now and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It has also cold and snow, Perfect for January.

You really should review all books!
Fyi castle rock (on Hulu) is about a young Annie Wilkes
I just did a re-read of Misery last week and I genuinely forgot how fucking good it was!
Have you read Tommyknockers yet? If so, did you like it
I didn't overall love Night Film, but that one scene in the antique shop (wait... museum?) was scary af and lives in my mind.
A good middle grade scary book is Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror by Chris Priestly. I personally found it really creepy.
Yes, yes! These are all great/sound great.
Also you look gorgeous ❤
Love you and your videos ❤
Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell gives winter vibes and is a fun read.
I’ve read a lot of spooky Middle Grade books but Small Spaces still remains one of the best.
Omg I love the Small Spaces series!!! The fourth one wasn't my favorite but still entertaining. I may reread these now lol
I think you would loooove 'Burner'robert ford
An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena. Honestly it’s Shari’s best book. Give it a go! Also, The Shining by Stephen King (I prefer it more than the film. It’s different)
I've never read a horror with my name in it and I think I want to keep it that way bc that sounds like a terrifying experience 😂
Picked up fever house on your recommendation. Curious of your gunna read it or not? It's a 5 star for me
Reading the science fiction horror book, Leech by Hiron Ennes
right now
It is set in a mountainous place during winter
The Resting Place by Camilla Sten is a good winter book as well.
I hate winter but I love Jordaline- Jeremy fill up our cups. Now.
Let the right one in is a really good book. A lot different from both movies. 80's time line. If you liked the movie, you will love the book.
Just checking in to see if you’re ok?! Missing our Queen 👸!
Hi I missed you too❄️
I've actually read the Darcy Coates book you're thinking well the first one anyway
As someone in Appalachia... the way i cringed when you said sk*nwalker out loud

I DNF near the bone..couldn't do it...😢
I love Darcy Coats but Dead of Winter was just meh for me.
❤❤❤❤
🎉 So glad to see you in 2024! But not Tiffany - LOL!!!
App uh latch uh 😉
Let Me In is a great movie but I could not get past the pedo scenes in the book. I can’t believe some people don’t have an issue with this.
You look so thin!❤️
25:45 she's a vampire! i loved the movie, never read that original book.
❤❤❤
