I’m hoping to still read Mongrels, Rebecca, The Year of the Witching, Dark Harvest, The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, My Best Friends Exorcism, and Councilors. All books that I own and have been on my TBR for awhile.
I liked Cows for being over the top disgusting. I thought of the story and symbols and decided its more than gross, it's that society has failed and humanity is broken. Not scary, but shockingly disturbed.
And for Halloween I am reading "If This Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe: A John, Dave, and Amy Novel (John Dies at the End 4)" by Jason Pargin (formerly writing as David Wong).
I absolutely loved They All Died Screaming by Kristopher Triana but be warned it is disgusting. I think you can really tell the author has heart and talent with this one. It actually had me tearing up and I tabbed the hell out of it which normally doesn't happen with extreme horror. I hope you enjoy it.
