Video shots were taken from Sadus Live show in San Francisco, 1989 Created by Dave Luck and James Chisholm of BandCastTV and VisualCreations.com Great job guys!
I used to listen to Sadus back in 2005-'06 and I remember that this was my favorite tune by them ... I don't really know why I stopped listening to 'em? :S
The speed that came from sadus.- Chemical exposure slayer reign in blood/ hell awaits- sepultura - morbid visions bestial warlust - vengence wars till death S.o.d - speak english or die , megadeth - killing is my business. The hybrid thrash death that broke mid 80s through 89 amazing breaking bands that shaped the greatest things for metal fans. As death, suffocation , obituary , incantation immolation, morbid angel. Cannibal corpse , napalm death, carcass broke through the 90s bringing great death metal and if it was not for thrash metal black metal would not took off best time for metal ever.
Sadus was and is an awesome band the way they play keeps my Metal spirit strong listening to this guys bring me back to Life. What a way to prepare for our last 5 minutes of life. There is no will to live! You don't want to be plug to a machine to suffer more. There is no perplexity end of life's expectancy . Stripped of life vitality certain death! Beautiful lyrics ! Long live The Metal!😎
I saw this very same video on this same TH-cam channel when i was 15 years old... Now im fucking 31, how the fuck did time pass this fast? This video was my introduction to the migthy SADUS, i love this song as much as i loved it back then. Thanks to the guy who uploaded this video, you made my life better.
I made this video back in the early 90's it is amazing to see all this response off a video that was edited in a collage S-vhs editing room, i had a lot of fun doing it, me and my friend then james shot all the footage, the graveyard footage is mainly from Oakland,CA, and all the band footage is from various shows shot by us in and around the bay area, and some that i got from the bass player Steve Digorgio from there Swallowed In Black tour with Sepultura and Obituary!!!!!!!
Great Band..I never forget when I find the first album in a shop in Genova in the early years with the original cover THRRRRRRRRRRRRASHHHHHH RULEZ !!!!!!!
one of my favs along with Undead they've got a pure style, they don't sound like any other band. of course all thrash sound a bit alike. the tune and vocals maybe but surely can't beat that bass... and that rush makes them sadus!
This band had so much talent in terms of technical abilites, that they pretty much made anything in the bid 4's discography (and yes, that includes megadeth) look primative.
...and the crappy VHS quality is a reminder of the spirit and origins of this genre of music. What we were doing in the mid and late eighties, in the underground scene (tape trading, etc...) was genuine. I could be wrong, but I get the impression that what is called death metal nowadays is too polished, too available, too mainstream, which totally negates the original concept behind this music.
Darren and Sadus are Gods.....But truth be told ....When i saw them in N.Y.C IN 1990 with Obituary and Sepultura....they got blowin off the stage....Seriously alot of the true underground fans were disappointed...The show was at the world famous Lamours in Brooklyn..
@KissMeImPunk Fact. If we go from inquisition to retaliation metal climbs a huge level. See the pop music, totally ruling the world. Wherever we go there is one or other metal band, and some two-bit pop singer. But the pop singer is on the outdoors, while the metal band is sentenced to eternal garage. There is no solution, it is either extreme metal dominating the mainstream mercilessly, or extinction.
Steve usa bajos ESP personalizados, especialmente hechos para él. Es más visto con un bajo ESP F-series de 5 cuerdas de acabado verde oscuro, aunque también toca raros bajos de doble mástil. Usa amplificadores Ampeg SVT Classic y pantallas Ampeg y Randall.
I miss this band... Most intense thrash band in my opinion.
Caleb Porter They are back and are making a new album... Darren Travis is on Facebook and TH-cam and he's been posting clips of new songs
