- I was admiring these beautiful dogs outside of a Spanish market when a friendly stranger appeared. In fact a bit two friendly. He started speaking to me in English and then posed for a picture with me. Which I had not even asked for. Then the kind stranger changed tone and ask for money to feed him and what he called "His dogs". I asked if he could play us some music to earn his money. At first he said he could then he just went back asking for money. Avoid the friendly stranger when on vacation, especially one who wants to take a picture with you.

Exactly, he thought we were a couple of dumb first time tourists. He actually went inside to get something after and we took off real quick.
In greece we have tons of groups of guys like this in touristic area : example the white tower in Thessaloniki
It's crazy how they literally show up out of nowhere and act like we are best friends. Actually I was being friendly with the guy until he mentioned give me money.😓

Reminds of toramalenos about 91, we were walking along and a woman pops out offering free tivolai World tickets in exchange for a small sales talk, is it a timeshare says my dad no no not timeshare so got to a hotel sat through a rather pressurised sales talk really thirsty then swiftly left by taxi into a different area with same name long walk in siesta time back to correct street real tricky to avoid but think they can't do it like that nowadays.
Oh those sales talks are the worst. A friend back in Michigan invited me to some get rich quick scam. I wanted to get up and leave finally after the presentation he said do you have any questions. I barraged him with questions because I knew it was a scam. I would never have given them my money but some others were about too. At the end they were almost happy to get rid of me. Hahahah. You have to be on guard all the time, especially with your money.

He said he was going inside to get some chicken. (I assume he thought we were going to pay for it somehow). When he went inside, we dipped out of there.😂😂😸

He started talking to me while I was filming the dogs. I did not know who he was, I though he might have something cool to say. He said he was, he even mentioned some instrument.
If it was a pretty girl maybe, but he's not very attractive for a photo lol.
Apparently he thinks he's famous and a photo with him is worth money.🕺📸
Best to avoid these guys when they become full on. They see you as cash. I don’t mean to disrespect them in any way. I have met a lot of people from Senegal in France and Spain. Most are good people and this guy probably is too. They speak French so if you can speak to them in French you will find it goes a long way. The thing is few of us our wealthy enough to be able to hand out cash all the time.
Hi Foster, I did not like his approach, it was more of a hustle or scam. If he had come up and sad I'm hungry, could you buy me something to eat. I would have got him something.
