I agree with Blake. Scag can't be beat. I started my business with a Freedom Z. Then this year, I bought a Tiger Cat II 52IN brand new out of the crate with the Kawasaki FT730V-EFI 26HP engine. I love it. The cut quality is second to none
This is my mower! I went with scag because of Blake, when I bought a 15 acre property in 2019. My lawn slopes down into a lake / aka water run off. It’s probably more user error than the mower but on turns it does divet the grass. It did a great job cutting some tall vegetation but I did not do a good job early on with blades and deck maint. I originally assumed it would be required as often but changing that. The yard was rough / not good grass and weed man now has it on a program. Just now starting to see stripes. Only issue outside that was a major failure where my back wheel stuck. They said it was a factory bolt failure of some sort and they had to come get it. I do get it stuck fairly often when wet. My one acre and trails can be done in about an hour. It’s like a rocket!
I have a Scag Cheetah 72 and I love it like it’s my gem. I honestly love going fast on my lawn and neighbors lawns. Sometimes you have to get on and off a lot but I don’t mind it I’m used to it. It’s amazing how Scag mowers leave awesome stripes. Great video Blake
I bought a vride 2 a year ago after watching you and several other reputable guys reviews and I have to say in all honesty I’ll never own another sit down.
I worked for the city of oak grove many moons ago. They had turf tigers for their public works they looked like they been in a nuclear blast but still ran like a champ.
Did you consider testing the new turf tiger? Especially one with a 72 inch deck and a 40 hp engine. The tiger cat two only holds 9.5 gallons worth of gas. I noticed that’s a vanguard engine, but not an EFI. how is the fuel usage on that scooter model?
It’s because of you that my next set of mowers will be Scag, so you can tell them that! Also, Just curious...how many seasons do you get out of your trimmers/blowers, etc? I’m on my 3rd season as a company still with all original stuff and just wondering how long I’ll get out of them.
Nice scag but too expensive for me as a beginner. Hey Blake, I need help. If a residential yard is $50 per hr, how much can I charge for commercial per hr?
Great looking mower......not sold on Lapbar mowers or any mowers that requires the operator to do 3 point turns, but Blake you did a great job showing off this well made beast.
@Dillon DeClue agreed,,,,all mowers should do a 3 point turn unless your zeroturn is equipment with Turf Tear Reduction Technology (see the Commercial Proz 760S or the 960s. No 3 point turn is required. Amazing engineering. Even on wet grass. 3 point turns are slow and reduce productivity. I own an Exmark 60 inch and a Scag 60 inch. However, these fine mower are now my back up mowers because of the outdated technology. I hope you get a chance to demo the a Pro Z 960 or 760 from Cub. Good mowing my friend.
A zero turn is better for picking up trash because you just get the long trash grabbers and there's no need to get off the mower. you can even carry a 5 gal bucket on the mower to put the trash in.
Blake, I joined the SCAG family this year! I have the VRIDE 2 with the 37hp and the Tiger Cat 2...both 52 inch. Quick question, what are the best blades to get for the best stripes? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Lmfao, been mowing commercial properties on zero turns for 20 years and ive never had to get off of it to pick crap up. Buy a trash picker upper, problem solved. Good grief. Fyi-Ferris is a much better ride vs scag, scag cuts better thougj

Appreciate you giving the Tiger Cat a run and the feedback!
Hey can y’all give me a Scagg tiger cat for $4500
Like the video mqn. Been dealing with anxiety and depression myself. Continue to push through it

For you saying you haven’t used a zero turn in a while, your stripes looked awesome! Great video

Is the VRide a better machine and can you mow say 4 acres per stop without getting tired?
I worked for the city of oak grove many moons ago. They had turf tigers for their public works they looked like they been in a nuclear blast but still ran like a champ.
TG2 is a sweet mower, friend of mine just bought one! Keep hustlin bud...see ya at GIE

Austin, we look forward to having your business!
Scag scag baby!

I used to use a Turf Tiger II when I worked for a company. In my opinion the best Z-Turn out there.
You should definitely test out the cheetah 2!!!

We have both a stand on and a ztr…love my ztr

I’m buying a tiger cat this year I’m hyped
What size is your trailer with the Scag.
Head up brother were all struggling with this rain.
re leveled ? the deck wasn't level ? what did they charge you ?
I feel ya with depression I have that a lot I listen to music in my room and I think about what I can do to over come my depression and move forward
It always helps me to get as much stuff done as I can, then relax.
Did this have a roller on it?
Awesome video bro 👍
I did the same demo from a VR2. I couldn’t stripe for the life of me haha!
If my lawn guy showed up in a Raptor I'd know I over paid.
Love how he acts like he's too good to be on a sit down zt.
I didn't really get that impression I think he was just emphasizing that he uses and prefers stand on
Do you remember what engine was on that unit and how it performed?
Ypu can get them with different engines. I just bought one with a carbed 32hp vangaurd big block
I think you should demo a wright stander x. They are great machines
Only thing it was missing is a Kawasaki engine scag needs to change the fuel tank to one
Find peace with God, it's all about his grace towards us!!! An attitude of gratitude will get you thru every time!!! Thanks for your videos!!!!
Zero turns to me are life but I like Exmark I also don’t mind stand on’s bc they are a smooth ride

Scag oem blades are best, especially their high lift. I just bought 6 shipped for $190.

Great video
Started woth two roger cat 2 then got a. V ride, now I hate a zero turn
