Polestar 2 facelift review! | Tesla and BYD should be SCARED?

- The Polestar 2 2024 has just seen a facelift! Basic maths, its a Volvo S60 + Volvo XC40 combined, at least it looks like it!
It is one of the most popular electric cars for a reason! A humble-looking Swedish beast with performance on its side! Plus its electric! Now as part of the facelift, the single motor now powers the back wheels instead of the front. You can also have a dual motor, which is essentially AWD!
Polestar started as a racing company in the 1990s. Volvo and Polestar only met each other in the mid 2010s, where Polestar became a higher trim level for Volvo cars. Now thanks to Geely and Volvo, Polestar is its own brand, and with aim of being electric!
Now it is based on the same platform as the Volvo XC40.
Primary competitors of the Polestar 2 are the Tesla Model 3, BMW i4, Volkswagen ID.7, and the BYD Seal.

I have the front wheel drive version - the wheels cannot handle the power, especially in the wet. Rear wheel drive will be the game changer as otherwise a great car.
I have a Tesla Model 3. I thought about getting a Polestar 2 so i rented one for a week. I found it incredibly uncomfortable to drive. The high center console meant there was no where for my right knee to go so it constantly banged into the console. Other than that, it did seem like a better car than the Tesla.
I agree the interior does raise some questions. Otherwise, the exterior looks excellent for an electric car!

As someone who's had both Polestar 2 and Tesla model 3, I know for a fact Tesla should NOT be scared 🤣I think the only part that was superior in Polestar was the turning signal sound.
This thing will sell dozens... lol no one wants goofy EV's anymore
