First Time in an Eight in Years

- Hello TH-camrs! I have made it to France after an amazing opportunity in Croatia to train with the Sinkovic brothers. I am here is Nantes, France to train with the C.A. Nantes club and be part of their team for the French National Championships. I was invited a couple of years ago but the timing did not work. This year, however, it seemed to be the perfect timing to incorporate the training into my Euro Trip. The French National Rowing Championships are not for a few weeks so I get to stay in Nantes and enjoy a beautiful part of the world as well as train hard for another block of training. I will be training in both my single and the eight, perhaps in other boats but will see what happens in the next few videos! I hope you enjoy!

Came out so well!!
Rowing in different boat-class can be a good opportunity to apply similar priciples at different speeds. Swapping between sweep and skulling is an additional challage/opportunity as well. Especially after you do the 90% of the training year-long on single skull, it's good way to refresh the ideas and technical points to focus on! Good luck Cam in France!

Ahhh ... my biggest regret when I was rowing was that I never had the chance to scull in a quad ... always wanted to try that boat out.

I don’t like eights although it’s great to row with people you like it’s not good when you can’t get timing or you can’t feel your power in a stroke that’s why I prefer doubles or singles
