I admire this woman. Strong, unapologetic clear and concise.

If you don't understand the word institutional and are on the select committee you really shouldn't be there!

My gf worked for a solicitor's who dealt with police complaints. They made a small fortune from dealing with police crimes. It was more lucrative than dealing with ordinary criminal's

The way this woman presents herself, her evidence and her case is remarkable.

A conservative MP not grasping institutional racism. What a shock

If you want things to change, then stop letting them investigate them selves.

It is appalling that just a few months ago Cressida Dick was strenuously defending the Metropolitan Police Force. Is maybe half the problem the people directing the operations have all been bred within that same force and are utterly blind to the failings?

Heartbreaking… it’s all so real! As a 48 year old black man born and raised in London, I tell you from a very early age… me and my brothers where told how to act with the police and unfortunately it’s so common it’s refer to as the “talk”… All my encounters with the police where pretty unpleasant I have to say, and I’m no criminal (never been arrested or convicted of any crime), been stopped and searched for no reason… one time I remember been stop as I was with two white friends, the police asked them if me and my cousin had made them carry ‘anything’.

Baroness Casey utterly brilliant , if politicians , police ignore what she has shone a light on the failures will continue and we will get another devastating report in the future.

This woman is an inspiration. All of her points so elegantly stated - straight to the point, with no sugar coating.

I went out with this lovely bloke over 40yrs ago and when I met him he had just left the MET police. He could only manage two terms and then had to leave much to the disappointment of his dad. He left because he could no longer endure the blatant racism that was rife. He actually cried when he told me, not for himself but for the black police and community. With his dad present he told his boss so that they were aware of what was going on. Hey guess what? 40yrs later and what has happened?

A very powerful delivery, let's hope that for once the report is taken seriously and acted upon. 😢

Thank you Ms Casey, for your work and all of those who have worked with you on this. We need more people like you who are able to choose a good team and transmit in everyday language all of the findings.
