Really enjoyed watching you go around Harrods, some of the reduced gifts were not too expensive. You all chose well for the person you were buying for. Couldn't believe the difference in price for all three gifts xx

I really enjoyed watching this vlog today on a Thursday morning and here in Australia 🇦🇺 we don't do secret Santa but I'm thinking about it when I'm a bit older and have my own children. But I did get really nice Christmas presents this year and on Christmas morning I'm going to the cemetery to visit my grandparents and put some flowers for them and then I'm going to my aunts house for lunch & dinner and spend time with my cousins and my aunts and uncles especially with my dad ,my brother & his girlfriend .
i love how you look at gifts and dont just buy them you all actually get gifts that each other will love and appreciate , i love cammomile tea but at moment im loving green tea

I'm from Birmingham I went to Harrods in the summer with my family and I brought a bottle of perfume it's a good department store but it's expensive
Vivienne Westwood is a good ethical brand they use a lot of vegan leathers and organic and recycled cotton

Katie, if you're ever gifted a tea towel without a hook, just cut three inches of elastic & then you can sew your own on in less than 2 mins.
Typing your name also made me realise that there's a story I've never told you. I'm 6yrs older than my sister. When my Mum was pregnant with my sister, my Mum & Dad included me in a conversation about what her name should be. I'd heard a name at school that I liked at school & my Mum liked the name Beth. Within seconds, we had her name, Katie Beth. I'd heard the name Katie at school & liked it. As soon as my parents said the name Katie Beth they knew that was her name. I have no idea what her name would have been if she'd been a boy. This was back in the mid 80s before people got to find out the gender during pregnancy.
Thank you for sharing that lovely story! It's wonderful how you were involved in choosing your sister's name, and Katie Beth is such a beautiful and meaningful name. It's fascinating how names come about and the stories behind them.

Hey S, we are checking our IG now so thank you very much, It will be an honour to make your Grandmother's Stuffing recipe as I believe that the bond with our grandmothers and the connection through food is something truly special. Their recipes are like cherished treasures, both of my Grandmothers have passed away now so keeping their memories alive with dishes I prepare is important to me.
Today, I had the beautiful experience of baking cup cakes with my granddaughter Astrid, using my grandmother's mixing bowl. It was so important to me that she knew that we were using her GREAT GREAT grandmothers mixing bowl although the recipe for the chocolate cakes was my own. Food has a magical way of connecting generations, and I'm grateful to carry on these traditions with my family. And yours too - Katie 💚

My grandmother can no longer cook, but she used to be an accomplished cook, even studying at Le Cordon Bleu. I’ll tell her you’e making her stuffing - I’m sure she’ll be pleased!
